I get deep wounds rather often as I am a new character and I have no way to combat them, aside from letting them get infected and using antibiotics (which I am slowly running out of). How can I prevent the wounds from infecting in the first place with disinfectant?
Well there are several options. If there is no remotely medicine like substances available you could try cauterizing the wound by using an item with a cutting quality while having some sort of heat source such as matches and or a fire however this damages the part in question and causes pain and also might actually make the wound immediately infected but if you have no medicine. Then of course there are various treatments that don’t involve burning yourself such as your mentioned disinfectant but first aid kits also fix deep wounds and can also remove infections. There is also hemostatic powder which is similar to disinfectant but in a solid form and the last of the guaranteed ways that I know to fix bite wounds is hydrogen peroxide which can be found fairly commonly in homes. The only medicine that with little to no levels you can make that has a remote chance of healing bites is the improvised first aid which can be made with booze and rags and at later levels of survival and or first aid you can make thyme oil which is similar to regular disinfectant (I think I don’t actually use it much)

Thanks. If you know of a thread or link that could help with my questions, I would appreciate it and not constantly ask questions as I play through.
How long does it take for bloated zombie gas to go away?
Depends, a couple of minutes outdoors. If it’s inside a building, then it can linger for quite a while, so it can be a good idea to open the doors (and windows if you can strap on a filter mask) if you want it to clear out sooner.
And of course it’ll never dissipate while it’s outside the reality bubble.

I haven’t really messed with it in a while, but unless it’s been changed in the last few months and I didn’t notice (which is possible), all that matters is inside/outside - opening the doors and windows doesn’t seem to help.
How the [move]--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------FUCK--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------[/move] do you reinforce a freakin’ corpse .-.
Im going insane trying to figure it.
When the corpse is made of cotton, leather, plastic, or steel.
Or wood or bone or chitin.
(but skeleton corpses are officially not sufficient for the GotC thread)
That gave me an insanity tickle, i didn’t figured it out it was so simple.
Ay Fil teh dunbs.
I keep throwing up, but I don’t know why. I recently cured myself of an infection, but it has gone away (at least I think). Also, what does it mean when the food item is in purple text?
Sounds like you have an intolerance for whatever the food is. Check your traits in the status screen, and don’t eat the stuff that’s highlighted like that…
I think parasites can also cause nausea, and the common illnesses. You can deal with the first by using an antiparasitic, and the second you just manage with cough syrup or whatever.

AFAIK puple text means you have nausea (and eating it makes you puke)
Is there a way to get an NPC to learn a martial art style from a book? I’ve just come across a “martial arts master” and would like to get her powered up.
Im having issues making the newest versions with linux and as a release.
I pulled out .astylerc and it works fine, so is it me?
Is there away to make RED NPCs(both hostile and fleeing ones) valid targets for turrets?, i have been woken up on my car to smash sound, and it was a “fleeing” (showed on overmap) that was destroying the cameras of my car
I thought they already were
For the crafting of pipe weapons are we assuming the weapons are or are not rifled?
