Is the old tutorial level remotely indicative of all the new features etc that have been added since I last played like, a year ago? (Is it even still a thing, I should probably have checked that.)
I’ve been reading over the keybindings to try and get up to speed but I’m trying to cut corners on re-learning this game’s interface. Is there any point in the tutorial or should I just play, die and git gud like the old days?
I’ll be honest, I’m not sure anyone has updated the tutorial in ages. I checked the github, and the last update to the tutorial was in August and it just added a UZI mag to go with the tutorial UZI. The last update before that was in 2015, when Rivet reworded some of the tutorial text. There are a few people on the git who are asking for an update though, so if you’re looking for a project to undertake then there’s an option.
Long story short, the tutorial is out of date and you’ll probably get more out of just jumping into the main game.
Is it possible to complete the Follow Sarcophagus Team mission? I went to the indicated sarcophagus, took the elevator down to the basement, and completely explored it. No sign of any team or anything that looks like it would satisfy the NPC who gave me the quest…
Nope. It was never finished, and fixing broken NPC missions (Sarcophagus and Find a Book are two such examples) seems to be a low priority at the moment. Not even nuking the sarcophagus by hacking the computer will do anything.
I recently decided to try out the experimental version and I cant seem to figure out the keybinding menu, as it has changed from the stable. How do I activate the debug menu in the latest build?
Check the keybindings ? > 1
debug is normally ~ iirc, or maybe thats just what I changed it to because Im lap-topping it and don’t have the numeric pad+
The debug menu is unbound by default, you just have to set it from the keybindings menu towards the bottom. I also set it to the tilde key out of a force of habit.
Not me. I was literally born to Cataclysm. I’ll have you know I’ve only made 45,822,316,498,253,324,568,642,696,242,585 mistakes since I started playing the game.
How do I deal with a calcium deficiency without multivitamins? Cheese/milk are practically impossible to come by and taking multivitamins tends to lead to that frustrating metabolism destabliization/restabilization thingy.
