Does this look like a cemetery to you?

Combustion engines all have power equal to 100*engine displacement in liters. Engine displacement is that number in their name - for example, “15.0L V12 engine” has 1500 power.
Large electric motor has 350 power, enhanced one 400.

A tad on the small side, but looks decent. o.o

I like it, but I agree that it’s on the small size. It works as a rural cemetary, but an average cemetery would be about the size of the mansions, IMO.

Yeah. But that’s more a consequence of a single overmap tile only giving you so much space to work with. XP

I would want a large one. But I mean theres 4 or 5 of them in my small city where I live, and they would all be represented by 2x2 or a single map tile.

I want a bigger one for out of the cities. And as a baseboard for fantasy scenerios that deal with wizards, liches, and of course thrillers.

How do you ensure that multi-overmap tile structure spawn together, in their correct locations, and in the city/in the woods/etc?

You need to create a multitile structure in overmap_specials.json. For example, LMOE shelter is one (it has 2 tiles: upper and lower).

Looks great either way, can’t wait to see more of what you can do!

Is there any reason to worry about ear protection for firing guns? Or is it just that temporary deafness?

I also mutated a snout, and wholly cows, stamina comes back so mauch faster without a filter mask on. I have this cowl thing on and its actually fairly awesome as long as smokers dont happen.

Be very lucky that deafness isn’t permanent. o3o

Meh, Poor hearing is a standard trait of mine to take. If it wasnt for sleeping or suprise looters/zombies deafness would mean no more annoying sound-related cancellation queues.

Ah, but your loss when a shoggoth sneaks up on you.

Indeed.

Is it a bug that I found Laser weaponry and ‘finale’ level loot, skitterbots, and copious amounts of casings on the B1 level of an ice lab?

That sounds like some delicious luck.

Also…has Stats Through Skills been nerfed? I’ve tranferred Snips over to more recent versions and got a few skills up to 3, and none of them went up.

EDIT: Oh. It looks like it actually looks at TOTAL skill points linked to a given stat. So that, in addition to different threshold levels, is why the logic seems so drunken.

Speaking of save transferring. I am currently using 0.C-4048 and would like to update to latest. I have read a little about save editing and was wondering if I need to do that or do people delete map files just to start on a fresh map.

Are there any recent changes known to bork older saves? Any advice on carrying forth a badass and beloved character to the newest build repeatably, besides the obvious “backup your saves” would be awesome.

Easiest way is to just save your old version and save, then copy-paste the save. If it works, there you go. If it doesn’t work, that’s why you saved the old copy. 3:

typically you want the files: Config, Save, and templates. Save them, DL the new version then move them into the file and start. There is also the option to DL the unofficial Cataclysm Launcher Which should do all of this with a few clicks. Unless you are a unique case like me it should save you some minuscule amount of time per update.

Am I the only one that sets their preferred configs the hard way each update? o3o

meh I do apox every other or every third update seems like. Due to accidental deleting or laziness when updating.
