Basically just look at @ and > over to your encumbrance panel. Look at stats with ^ & V arrow keys. Are you suffering penalties you don’t like? Adjust until comfortable with perk/penalty ratings of clothing.

What’s the official chance that a lab is an ice lab? I’m asking because the last 8-12 labs I’ve ran into have ALL been ice labs. o_O

Anyone tell me what tool is required to repair my crossbow?

try a basic repair kit. Then a soldering iron. If not, cry into your pillow because Im pretty sure its not a sewing kit or firearm repair kit.

I’ve got a zweihander and medieval swordsmanship and I’ve just found the means to craft a katana and the martials arts book for Nitten Ichi Ryu.

Shoud I switch over to a katana? It seems that the zombies hit me quite often with medieval swordmanship, but it’s maybe related to my relatively low level in melee.
What does medieval swoardmanship?

According to the wiki, zweihanders have more damger per attack, and can be upgraded with a fuel tank into a firebrand, but katanas are faster and have better combat skills. Like block.

So really depends on if you are a strength or speed kinda guy.

A zwei will do impressive damage. And I also hear that zweihanders fit into back scabbeads but katanas dont.

Currently fast weapons are generally much better, even at worse damage-per-turn values. If you miss a turn due to slow weapon attack, you don’t regain dodges.

Yeah, thats what I was afraid of. I tend to play on city size 0-1 most of the time, and it gets REALLY hard sometimes to actually find the tools I need to keep my weapons in tip top.

Is there any way to delete a specific vehicle from the game? I’ve just found a beautiful, functional Infantry Fighting Vehicle that has a sports-car phased halfway into it. To be clear, it’s not a wreck. It is two separate vehicles occupying the same space.

Looking for it under the save file works. Get an item and carve something into it. Drop it next to the car. Look for it in the world’s folder. When found, look for the vehicle you want to delete and delete it. Back up your save before you attempt anything.

Straight katana vs zweihander I would go katana, but I’d take a machete over that, easy.

But with Niten-ichi Ryu, it depends on your Perception, really - Niten it quite powerful, and with high perception, it’s gets brokenly, stupidly powerful very quickly. I have a character with pretty good stats (14/12/14/12 base - no cheats), but I’m regularly doing 300+ damage in one hit with a wakizashi. Haven’t QUITE hit the magic 400 (that would one-shot a hulk) yet, but gotten very close.

Also, you can regularly kill thing by blocking them AND you get extra blocks, both of which REALLY help when you’re outnumbered.

I didn’t knew that speed was that powerful in weapons.
I’ll go look into the wakizashi, and compare it with the katana.

disassemble car and asemble it again somewhere

Why machete though? It has no rapid attack and can get stuck in enemies. Katana is still the best general purpose melee weapon in the game.

Machete weighs half as much, therefore being easier on stamina.
It also has a better to-hit bonus.
It is also a bit faster to use than katana, that is if we disregard katana’s ‘rapid strike’ technique.

The main reason I use the machete is the stamina thing. Katana is probably great for short engagements against dangerous foes but with machete you can just keep on hacking without tiring. Well… almost.

I see, that’s interesting, Looks like katana without nitten isn’t as good as I thought.

And sorry for the belated response. If you can get an arming sword or longsword, you might fare better, as speed kills. o3o

That said, I’ve yet to test whether medieval swordsmanship is anywhere near as broken as Niten. I already intentionally balanced it so that displace-and-counter requires some actual effort compared to fencing’s automatic counters.

I remember someone running the numbers and coming to the conclusion that, DPS wise, the katana was the best weapon, only bested by most diamond swords, and that the diamond katana was the highest DPS dealer in the game.

Rapid Strike is your friiiieeend.

I somehow feel like the person who did this shit for the Katana is a retarded Weeb who doesn’t actually know anything about swordsmanship. To me it doesn’t seem right that a Katana(Literally no different cutting-wise from an Arming Sword, except in that it’s vastly more fragile), can instantly kill hulks like you’re the main character of an Anime.

Niten needs to be toned way the fuck down, to somewhere on par with Medieval Swordsmanship. It’s not even close to being realistic, and it’s just utterly broken.
