There are very few things as satisfying as making a hulk punch through several fungaloids until it dies.
And one of those things is the fun of cleaning up what’s left after said Hulkamania runs wild, with a flamethrower.
So I’m looking at broth in the crafting menu and it says it will eventually rot, right there between “average damage as a melee weapon” and “you could use it to craft” in the item description. Okay perfectly normal.
But I’m looking at human broth and don’t see the “eventually rot” language. Does that mean human broth magically never spoils? I mean that’s sure what it looks like, but I figure I’ll bring it up here before I go trying to fill a 55 gallon drum with it.
Give one npc a spray can flamethrower (you read that correctly) and make them attack only what you attack. Use them to attack an enemy in front of a crowd and they will burn while your other npcs finish them off.

I had wondered the same thing. I left an open jar of human broth outside during the summer, then crafted a number of things. Days later, I checked the broth and it didn’t rot. It doesn’t have the colored text for food that rots, anyway. Might be a mistake, otherwise why have a sealed jar version of it (which takes forever to craft)
Hmm. It’s made mainly from human bones, right? I forget, does normal bone broth rot?
Regular bone broth has the “will eventually rot” text.
On a related note, I’ve finally figured out how to transfer fluid between two containers without having to pick either one up. Now I truly am a god.

Don’t wield anything, items have to be on the tile the survivor is standing on. Press U.

Isn’t this only a feature of one of the recent experimental builds?
Well, thanks for the info anyway.
Yep. So much stuff you’re missing in stable. ;w;
Was it winter? It might just be my imagination, but food seems to rot less quickly (or not at all) during my entire winter season.
Also, is there a way to render zombie corpses unable to rise faster than smashing and butchering them, like a special tool or something?
You can always explode them, also I think that an electric carver butchers bodies super quick (but don’t quote me on that).
Nope. Tested the human broth during the middle of summer. Left it for almost a week and it didn’t rot. It doesn’t have the colored text of food that rots, in any case.
Doesn’t work anymore, but acid bombs used to melt piles of zombie corpses.

Tested it. Doesn’t seem to work. Tried butchering two hulks, one with an electric carver, and one without and both got butchered at around the same amount of time.

Just PRed the broth issue. Was set as never spoiling for no apparent reason.
Its obviously because humans are pure as oposed to animals.
It must have to do with the soul god gave us.

Makes sense, since there’s a sealed jar version of it.
Would be nice if there’s more human cuisine available now.

Alternatively, it’s because you’re magically delicious. :V
