Aye fencing is a nice support style later on in the game and you can learn it from a book unlike most other MA’s.
not so sure about spending 3 points to get it tho.

i don’t really fancy the martial arts that don’t support melee weapons at all
beside a few exceptions ( boxing and perhaps karate ) pretty much all martial arts have involved some form of weapon training historically
either as a defence against or while wielding it ( should provide atleast some special effects )

That said i’ve played a high int toon who knew the dragon style back when 0.B was the thing, fun stuff
actually lasted for quite a while aswell

Though I should note my favorite, krav maga, at least has a minor buff if you use an edged weapon, and its full array of techniques work with unarmed weapons. owo

Even if not a full array of buffs or moves, concentrating on a specific martial art when wielding a weapon should have it’s pros and cons.

The anti-fungal advice worked thanks. Ironically, there was a hospital 7 map tiles to the east from my last location.
Now about the turrets.

P. S. Is there something miniature like a motorbike but FAST? Turns out the safe speed for my motorbike was as little as 42 kph. Guess when I totaled my engine? When there was a fucking mi-go on my tail (thankfully it agreed to cease to exist after a third blast from my shotgun).

you can easily make a fast bike by yourself, either reduce the weight of the vehicle or attatch a stronger engine ( even a large electric engine will do ) i’ve reached over 150kmph with one such vehicle
( Granted i had to cut a 1wide passage through the woods to drive it anywhere useful with moderate comfort )

they must’ave banned the good bikes before the cataclysm :F

Bugger. I always forget I could try and make one myself. Crawling 42 kph is not fun. Thanks. Conveniently there are at least three garages in the town, perhaps I’ll recover a better engine in one of them.

there are tons of engines on the roads, waiting for you to grab them :). My stronghold APC has a 4,95l V6 engine which allows it to go at a safe 112 kmph, which is enough for me.

Edit: it also consumes only 4 units of gasoline doing that, but i still use the large electric motor which goes at slight better speed and at 3 units of battery.

Speaking of early game bikes, gotta give some credit to my 4long 1wide bike electric bike ^^
four extra light frames 3 cargo containers, one large electric engine, seat / batteries / solar panels / etc.
can haul great loads at high speeds, being 1wide you can spend one day chopping trees to form an 1 wide straight path in the woods.

meh, i never hear anyone saying they’ve chopped trees to form a path for their vehicle :F
it’s a must if you’re playing with static spawns only…

I don’t chop trees.

I set fire to forests to make way for my cars. Fire, then use vibrator to tire character out, go to sleep at a safe enough distance. Wake up, set things on fire if path is not yet complete.
