I’ve encountered enough queen ants. The one I’m talking about is just a roughly 2x2 ant tunnel. Dug around the area and only found solid rock tiles on the map. Oddly enough though, once I tunneled to that ant tunnel, the ant infestation that was happening on the lab went away.
Ant queens are, in fact, real. If you’ve explored the entire underground area beneath an anthill, you should find one eventually.
Yes they’re definitely real, however… i would strongly encourage you humble reader to spare her majestic life.
May she spend the rest of her days indefatigably producing extraordinary amounts of her bottom-of-the-food-chain kin.
next time i find the anthill with a somewhat well-established survivor i’ll prob build doors inside it. So i could benefit from both the food and the glue-making out their eggs xD

Makes me want to figure out how to make a bug zapper when I see all of them.
And that must be the part where the game realized this lack of a queen, and the ants vanished in a puff of logic.
Think of it this way, Without em the zombified animals & natural predators would’ave slain the remaining wild-life we cherish roasting :F
The mooseseseses can handle themselves just fine. :S
The mooseseseses can handle themselves just fine. :S
Wouldn’t want them to be the only source of untainted meat in the wilderness now would you, heh
True, but bears and moose(seseseses) are the best sources of meat. And tallow, and leather. o3o
why would you need so much tallow and leather? I’ve seldom any use for it after a year of surviving. I’ve seldom any use for anything, to be honest. But it’s true i didn’t try yet some of the more complicated things like triffid groves and fungal blooms.
I’m just cruising in my modified APC which has everything in it, besides a recharging station that i cba to build, searching for some barrel drums. Thinking wether i should try to clear a lab without a control laptop or to try to get one first.
By leather you’re talking about hides and pelts?
Well, tallow ( as food ) quick to prepare and lasts indefinately, meat jerky / preserved meat & etc take allot longer to craft.
as a material, It may be used to create cooking/lamp oil, Lamp oil in particular is extremely handy ( Oil lamp, Survivor’s mess kit ) for those who do not wish to use electronic gadgets or bionics, For a survivalist-like or earlygame experience :F
hides/pelts… I could definitely envision more survival recipes using them ( And they probably are being used in the experimental version, esp survival mod which i’ve not played with much )
And about the cruising playstyle, i made a suggestion to nerf end-game crafting in messy enviroments ( Such unspecialised vans & etc )
heh… Didn’t get far.
It is handy for innawoods players that need leather (and sometimes fur) for sewing and repairs. A LOT of non-clothing crafting uses leather, too.
The time I needed it the most was a barbarian in a map with item spawns at the minimum.
damnit xD that’s hilarious, i’m sorry… What i meant was My condolences. Personally i’ve never fall due to the fungal…
Get some anti-fungal medication asap m8, rush to a hospitle and b-line right to the storage area ( top left corner typically )
Pretty hilarious, aye. Wouldn’t want that to happen IRL though.
What is worse, I have yet to see a hospital somewhere. Pharmacies and doctor’s offices a-plenty otherwise, but I have not seen anything anti-fungal there.
I suspected as much about the wind — perhaps flying 100kph in the rain wasn’t the most wise idea. But cut the whole health bars so fast? Damn it.
What about the damn turrets? I’ll make some screenshots later if that would help.
Oh, and is there a Winchester 1887 in this game? Shooting zed brutes with R870 whilst on a motorbike is good but I could add some class to that.
Thanks.
For some reason breaking your arms is a fungal side effect, yeah.
Just be lucky it doesn’t make you climb trees in an attempt to scatter spores farther. :V
I’ve met a Thriller and about 150 dancer zombies shuffling arround him, they seem to be ignoring me and are busy demolishing random houses. Is there any way to kill them? They regenerate more than shoggoth. Maybe a mininuke?
Do you happen to have access to one of those nice missile silos?
Fire solves everything.
When was that added to the game? xDD LOL https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hG6oy46qKE4&t=2m20s
Long enough ago for me to sprite him and his backup dancers. o3o
I’ve made a terrible mistake. The thriller is dead and the dancers turned into hulks. Please send help.
Is there any way to repair badly burnt things?
You’re gonna have to be one smooth criminal to get outta that situation.
