No, it’s not a bug. Punch Dagger and Karate are incompatible with one another. You can’t use them together.
It should tell you what you can and can’t use in the unarmed menu by pressing !.
If it works the style is blue, if not red.
In-game, that is.
Thing is, some weapons that I know work with a given style will make the display turn red.

What really seems to be the big red flag (huehuehue) is if the style indicator changes to the “no style” one when you wield it.

Krav Maga is enough op as it is when barehanded.
Fast strike should have a heftier damage reduction.
If anyone happens to found an ancient Martial Hero-supplement for Hero System it has some more martial arts to be ported to Cata.

But it’s the delicious kinda OP. ;A;

One day I will find a book on Krav Maga, then I will combine 20 Base Strength + Hydraulic Muscles + Aderanline Pump + a Punch Dagger and I will literally knife punch everything to death.

Fist-stab all the things?

That works to.

Go for boxing instead! Cross counter and uppercut everything to death with a punch dagger!

Please assume the position. :V

Now I’ll just have to engrave the words FISTO on to it.

Any tips for finding steel chains?

They take 8hrs 40mins to craft in my version… I suspect disassembling foot cranks and chainsaws would yield steel chains but I’m more interested if deconstructing something would yield them too? Do parks have swings for children, for example?

Dooo iiiit.

Sometimes hardware stores, and some basements. Though both might also yield foot cranks as well. Unsure if anything has them in constructions.

How should I level up survival in the current experimentals?

In old Cataclysm, butchering the shit out of everything in sight did that job just fine. But with the new exp system it’s taking a bit longer than expected, I’ve been on Survival 3 for 15 ingame days despite regularly searching underbrush, butchering corpses, etc.

As with most skills, a few disparate recipes are always available, if you’re willing to hunt through craploads of recipes. The search option gives you the choice of filtering via skill used instead of the default of searching in result item name.

Looks like I could AK some hulks and cure their hides for the time being.

Then why am i able to do that stunning hit while 'w’ielding the punch dagger?

A stunning hit is when you, presumably, hit somebody using your fist.

Karate is not a fist-based martial art, AFAIK. A punch dagger sort of faces the same way that brass knuckles do, so at best, you use your hand to chop at their neck and the blade happens to connect with their chin.

I dunno, I just spawned myself a Punch Dagger and gave myself Karate to test it. 'w’ielding it excluded me from using Karate in the latest experimental. I know if you hit something hard enough with a melee weapon you have a chance of stunning the target.

Apparently unarmed and/or blunt weapons in general stun of crit, that’s one thing I loved about Krav Maga only to discover was common to unarmed in general.

Stunning happens with em all, only more often with MA’s due to style/hitting more often with quick strikes.
