Is the Survivor utility belt considered as all the tools it is made of, or do you need to run around with hacksaws, screwdrivers and wrenches even with it?
no difference
no, you do not need to run around with this stuff anymore (alslo you can sheath your knife in it) and when you need to do something with tool (like saw metal bars with hacksaw) you can activate belt and use tool

So you have to activate the belt every time you are going to craft or work on vehicles? So, is the belt acting as a sheath for the tools? You need to sheath them in it again when you’re done?
Wouldn’t it be more effective to just have the belt act as all of the tools instead?

for crafting and construction belt work like tools but if you need to use active use of tool (like sawing metal bars with hacksaw) you need to use activate belt
You really SHOULD do the “Complete vehicle guide”.
For example what is the difference between different frames, wheels or platings?
How does one count the amount of enginepower needed?
Which parts make interior count as “in”?
And so on…
It will work just fine, but it will slow down if it doesn’t have big wheel area. Most cars in game have a lot more wheel area than would be optimal for them, so they will not slow down much if you double their weight.

Try wiki. It has some of those.
Like, the exact formula for wheel area you need for optimal speed.
Just cleared out a Home Improvement Superstore on day 16/91 of spring with only minimal fihpghting required.
How to do it:
(Requires Mini-Flamethrower CBM and at least 2 Power Storages or 1 advanced Power Storage. Joint Torsion Ratchet is also helpful due to how much you’ll be moving)
Lure all the zombies outside
Use the Mini-Flamethrower to create a regular fire. Lure the zombies into the fire.
Run circles around the pursuing horde, creating additional fires as needed, until they’ve all burned to death
3.5- If there’s a few stragglers left or a group of zombies with very low health remaining, just take them down with your melee weapon.
You could kill the base of the fungal patch with a regular weapon, and then hunt down every last fungaloid, young fungaloid, and spore cloud in the region. But using fire is much more fun efficient.
With regards to the Hazardous Waste Sarcophagus mission…
So, I get down to the sarcophagus… what exactly should I do? Is there an NPC there that I got to talk to (I notice that there’s one lone human corpse in the place… so does that mean I fail?) or should I have brought the NPC who gave me the mission there?

They seem to be almost identical, so is there any real difference that matters, or is this a cosmetic choice?
Depends on which type of Cool you prefer. However, the duster covers the legs I think, and the trenchcoat doesn’t.

survivor duster covers the legs, and has a little more storage.

Yes, and according to the Item Browser, the trenchcoat has a collar, while the duster don’t. Whatever that means.
You sure about that? Because to me they both look to have the same. 36.
So, I found a 7x7 square of rebar and rock covered dirt on a road. ??
I’ve seen flaming eyes zap road, but that ends up in a nice line (or several of them), not a perfect square.
Any ideas what this is or what caused it? There’s road all the way around it. It’s right next to a school, if that matters…
Also, I found some RM13 armor, and it doesn’t seem that impressive… I assume turning it on makes it all kinds of awesome? Any thoughts on that from anyone?
I walk up to Milspec turrets and punch them to death with that armor. I don’t even know what the point of power armor is any more. I love it. Powering it up also gives you a decent amount of night vision, complete environmental protection, electric discharge protection, and I think one or two other bonuses. Zero encumbrance when fitted and powered. Remember to reinforce and line with kevlar for max deflection.
I’ve seen these strange formations as well… it may be a sign from the RNG gods. Maybe a chicken walker died and the resulting explosion created a hole in the road???

Two big possibilities:
It’s a crater and is highly radioactive. Nothing else is special about it.
It’s an artifact spawning location. Dig out the center and you’ll find an artifact. These ones often do weird things like pulsing with acid too.
