or better don t fight just dodge something relatively harmles while you got lots of focus.

Get your morale and focus up and stand in front of the weakest enemy you can find.

get them to hit you.

dodgin might not train your skill at some point… but beeing hit will.

just get more . one enemy wll definatly hit then ass you can only dodge once every 6 seconds-

EDIT: Wrong thread.

Dodge is best trained in heavy armor, surrounded by “skilled” zombies (soldiers etc.). Unskilled zombies will cause the “too simple” message after a while.
Just hold . while they grind your skill.

Sadly, dodging a lemming locked in the bathroom didnt work. Apparently my skill was to high :d

Is it possible to change the font dimensions? The most recent information I can see on Google, the wiki, and the forums are all from 2013, and assume the fontdata file is of the format

But now it is a json file, and I can’t find any way to change it.

I really, really want decently-sized square tiles.

I’ve had some luck opening the json file with notepad, but I couldn’t ever get it how /I/ like it. Good luck to you tho!

For some reason, not all fonts seem to work nicely even when they have correct sizes. I tried my luck with 3 different square fonts until I found PC_CGA: http://dskcenter.free.fr/Download/DskCenter_fonts.zip
It’s 8x8, so it’s not overhuge like everything else.

You can easily upscale fonts by increasing fontwidth and fontheight, but downscaling will cause artifacts.

It’s been removed temporarily until we can get localized weather patterns instead of global ones (and preferably have it actually have effects off-screen as well).

Okay, thankee; just means battery-operated devices are officially on the ‘only loot after the place is cleared out’ list. No matter, still useful in the end with some rechargeable battery mods I suppose…

You can apparently craft vinegar, although I don’t know the recipe. Those can be used to make batteries, so batteries are now a renewable resource (technically scrap metal is non-renewable, but it is so abundant it can be considered renewable)

Thanks Coolthulhu. Those instructions pushed me into the right direction. The only issue is that it is cataclysm/config/fonts.json, not cataclysm/data/fontdata, which was my mistake initially. However, I would like a little bigger tiles. Ideally, I would like 10x10, or 12x12 tiles, as 8x8 gives me pretty brutal eye strain. The 16x12 tiles clip the top and bottom of my viewport, sometimes so bad that I stumble into hostile things by approaching from the north or south, so I have to choose between playing Cata for 30 minute bursts, or not seeing everything at a glance.

However, all things considered, these square fonts are really fun to play with I might keep them ^.^

Its autolearn, cooking 3 i think. It needs to ferment for a long time, though.

You can simply make acid with a chemistry set.
It needs 5 charges ? of power to convert 1 unit of water into 1 unit of acid.
You can then concentrate it using a nearby fire as energy source and your chemistry set to receive concentrated acid.
Craft 100 battery charges with 1 conz. acid and some garbage. you lose 5 charges. you gain 95… perpetuum mobile(you lose the garbage though).
