Thanks for clarifying, guess I have some nice fire starter than.
Ah. I didn’t realize that it actually was supposed to drain all of your energy; I thought there was a specific amount of power consumed.
I probably will see how far 180k bionic power gets me now, thanks.
The ratio is 1 power = 1 turn, with a player at average speed getting 100 move a turn, and 1 turn = 6 seconds in-game, so:
180000/100 = 1800 turns of extra move
1800 * 6 = 10800 seconds
10800 / 60 / 60 = 3 hours
You basically just gave your character enough time to build walls around whatever was attacking you, and then walk away whistling before they ever get a chance to move an inch.
Marloss Man Reborn has 513400 power.
513400 / 100 = 5124 extra turns
5124 * 6 = 30744
30744 / 60 / 60 = 8.54 hours
DEAR JESUS.
Cue all us OP cyborgs seeing how much freezetime we get using Time Dilation.
i got back my body and raided another lab to get bionics and power what i lost when butchering corpse
its 1373400 power
nearly 23 hours of time freeze its nearly whole day
doing J-9 with this will be super easy
Encrypted SD-Memory Cards, how do you decrypt them?
With the ‘decrypt memory card’ option of your E-ink.
…I can’t believe I missed that… Thanks. xD
with the boats mod is making a boathouse vehicle a thing?
if so how do i go about making one?
would be awesome if you could have a boat with cooking, welding and such buildin sailing the river from town to town
Can you write on a sign you constructed? If you can, how?
Okay a question from me: Do solar cars now keep charging when you’re away? I know they didn’t, at least in the past.
EDIT: Apparently vehicle-related calculations are supposed to be processed even when the cars aren’t on map. I guess either I misread what does “on map” mean or had a long streak of extremely unlucky coincidences. The former seems much more likely than the latter.
Even if solar panels work while you’re away, they aren’t retroactively calculated for new vehicles generated later in game (for example, if you start in winter, all new cars are in their spring condition).
If this wasn’t the case, most electric cars you stumble upon would be charged at 50% or 100%, no cars would have active engines (those would have used up all their fuel) or lights (4 panels produce about as much as 1 headlight consumes) and all blood would be washed out from the bloody windshields.
The only item I can think of that respects time outside bubble and actually does something with it is funnel. Fermenting must, growing plants etc. also respect time, but they do not depend on weather in any way. Not sure about rotting food and temperature. I just tested a live grenade - those don’t countdown either.
Making those retroactive would be a nice idea, I’ll check if it’s doable without much work.
[Untested] Trying to find 40 rocks to make a stone fireplace so you don’t have to wear gasmasks or fire-fighting gear every time you want to boil a jug of water? Burn down the neighbors house, and use a shovel on the rubble. You don’t have to spend an in-game day hunting for rocks in the fields! Which, I might add, is a really annoying exercise >.>
(Stone shovels also unlock at survival 2, construction 1, and are reasonably easy to make for this purpose)
Won’t work, walls aren’t made of rocks. They only leave nails and splinters. Rubble isn’t made of rocks either.
actually it works, even though contemporary houses are not made of rocks, but bricks… (at least where i live)
OK, you’re right - now they spawn rocks too.
Few versions ago they didn’t, making burned down buildings only leave splinters and nails.
I have a question about vehicle armor.
Whats the best type, I wont be getting shot at so no need to bullet proof, And i don’t care about speed, I also don’t care how expensive. In my situation i need the best armor for inadvertently hitting things, shrubs other vehicles, i need an armor that will protect me and my car but not self destruct on impact. What should I use
Is there a safe way to deconstruct a wall of a pre-generated house? I tried just taking a fire axe to the wall and half the roof came in.

Military composite. It’s heavy, but has significantly more hp than any other plating. Frontal bumpers can also use spiked ones, like you see in pregenerated military vehicles. Not sure if it makes them more likely to survive any collisions, though.

Rip the cylinder off a Road Roller and install it on the front of your vehicle.
how do you change the key layout, I’ve tried to do it a few times and it keeps crashing the game, am i doing something wrong?
