Tip: You can peek around corners with X.
Go into debug menu and find the terrain changer-thingy. Then make the doorframe into a ground tile of your choosing, then RP that you changed it.

Ok so there is no true mechanic in game to remove them ok.
Is it possible to repair things made out of superalloy/ceramics? If it is, what tool do I need? I already tried soldering iron, welder, basic repair kit, swing kit and gunsmith repair kit, none of them works on either superalloy or ceramics.
I found a military mess kit on some dead soldiers, but it’s smashed, so I’d like to repair it. While being almost broken doesn’t seem to actually degrade it’s performance any, it’d still be nice to not have it be smashed. Mostly for my own internal RP and peace of mind.
Why does Wearing a suitcase encoumbers both hands?
Because hand encumbrance is handled with both hands, just like you can’t wear only one glove or dual wield stuff.
Sorry I probably should specify this is in latest experimental build in which hands have different encoumberance.
While different enc for each hand is in, I dont think that items have been reworked to take advantage of it yet. Basically everything is still working on the old system from what I can see.

Suitcases and a few other things could probably be reworked in the current version and merged I believe. As for gloves/shoes, it’s totally possible to do, but there are some UI/micromanagement problems that need to be solved before it is acceptable to be merged into the mainline.
Haha, that scenario reminds me of Dan Fedor’s masterpiece, NEO Scavenger. When I’m playing that, I always seem to end up with 7 left boots, when all I need is 1 right one!
It’s like (acid)raaaaaaaaaiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiin, on your zedding day…
I need some advice guys, I checked the Hordes button in Debug on my tiny little island I plan to move to in the middle of the river, apparently it has WORMS on it, safe to settle there? The river is HUGE and also, can zombies swim to it?
And is it a good idea?

Worms aren’t that bad and provide fancy leather when butchered. Zombies can follow through deep water but its very very unlikely.
Well, I shall ha-
Oh my god.
WHY THE HELL IS A HUGE ZOMBIE HOARD HEADED TOWARDS THE ISLAND
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH WHY DOES EVERYTHING HAVE TO GRAVITATE TOWARDS ME
Well, i hope to god you can put landmines in the river… because today’s cataclysm experience just got…
Zombifing
YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
What I plan to do is mine the river, and blow the fuck up out of the nearby city.
That should work well, right?
Here’s what I have in my makeshift camp…
Five NPC’s all armed with M249s and full ammo. No suppressors.
Two NPC’s with Remingtons and full ammo.
And three large tents filled with ammo and sleeping.
Camp is surronded by Bear Traps, Spiked Pits, And Wire Fence.
About 300 Landmines, and 200 C-4’s with 20 grenades, 10 EMP grenades, and 200 Molotovs and A CRAPTON OF ALCOHOL
If your wondering how I got this, I have a secondary production base, filled with farms and a ton of beer.
And a ton of heavily armed NPC’s and DOGS
Oh also the island is 5-5 in a river thats about… 20 squares each way.
Oh, and also there’s a bridge.
That I totally forgot about…
If you have all that shit, you’ll probably be fine. Also, I wouldn’t mind having that worldgen since mine rarely spawn cool islands… ;-;
Errr… Hordes move towards noise. I see alot of noisy things on that list.
On another note, how did you get all that crap onto and island? And how the hell did you ever get an island in the first place? Ive never seen anything but rivers.
It is a river, if your wondering how the fuck this happened, I have no idea.
Oh, and I found out what was going on to attract the noise…
GOD DAM IT WHY THE HELL ARE ALL THE NPC’s SHOOTING THE FUCKING FISH
Seriously, they are chucking GRENADES at the fish.
Oh, and I mined the giant fucking ocean of death large as hell river.
There’s a bridge going onto the island, and most islands are about 1x1 on map, I just got insane luck.
Heres the world gen settings (I modified rivers to be slightly bigger in raws.)
City Size=9
Wandering Spawns=Yes
Static=Yes
NPCs in general=Yes
Multi Z lvls=Yes
Classic zombies=Nope.
If I forgot any, tell me please.
Oh, and also an update…
I blew the fuck out of the city, now everything on the map is headed my way.
Im fucked, aren’t I?
Oh and also a NPC died because of a npc throwing a grenade at his legs.
On accident, of course.
Here rests Cannon Fodder #2 -insert name- He died from a npc’s grenade.
Oh, and I replaced all the grenades with acid, so WE WON’T FUCKING THROW IT AT FISH FOR THE LOLS
Oh, and a worm almost killed a NPC today…
(I feel like making a TinHead Journal, because I have a habit of making epic stories out of anything.)
All cities need a little rubble decoration. Also, where in the raws are the size of rivers located at?
Not raws, but I can’t find it, I recommend searching with 7-zip.
UPDATE TIME
After causing the river to melt with acid trips acid, I decided to deploy the M249 totting NPCs to fight the zombie hoard swimming over.
Let me just say, I went deaf within 10 seconds.
Oh, and all the NPC’s are dead, and a M249 BURST THREW THE FUCKING TENT
Oh, nevermined, there alive still.
So like, do you guys all live in tents or have you started building permenant structures on the island? I’ve built a one room shack on top of an office tower, complete with bed, kitchen, table and chair, and crate to store shit.
Well, heres the layout of Camp McIsland
River: Landmines, Bear traps, and a few Blade Traps.
Perimeter: Wire Fence, with Pits and Bear Traps, most wandering infected get killed.
Inner Wall: Another Wire Fence, but with Blade Traps and Crossbow Traps.
Camp: Three tents, One for Ammo, One for Food, and another for Explosives/Weapons. A small stone cabin next to a my mineshaft underground. Cabin is my sleeping quarters and workshop.
Bridge Gate: A garage next to the wire fence with emergency firearms and weapons.
Bridge: Clear, but on the other side I installed another gate that had pits/spikes/bear traps.
Oh, and thats it.
UPDATE TIME AGAIN
They manged to get through the wire fences into the Campgrounds, and let me just say.
I have NEVER seen that many Shockers and Smokers before.
We don’t have gas masks or nothin. This should be fun.
Oh, and also a NPC threw a grenade at a crashed car under the river, now its a huge sea of fire. Because there’s gasoline of course.
Im starting to think the NPCs are worse than the zombies…
