How do you reload and use the M2 Browning installed on a Humvee?

Drop corresponding ammo on the turret tile.

And as for using I think I’m right in saying it works as an automatically targeting and firing AI turret.

I don’t know if you can stand behind it and use it yourself. Would be nice if you could.

It should be one of the proposed “quick remove” items. Turret not doing the job? Take it off, lay it on your quarter panel, and open fire.

What’s the difference between skill rust settings in terms of calculations (e.g normal skill rust, Int, IntCap)
What’s the difference between skill rust settings in terms of calculations (e.g normal skill rust, Int, IntCap)
Normal skill rust is a 50% chance to lose some skill experience every so often (the frequency increasing at higher skill levels). Int changes the flat 50% out for a chance that depends on your intelligence, with 8 int staying at 50%. The capped versions are the same, except you can’t go below 0% and lose a skill level.

Is there a way to see why my base move cost is what it is? Because it’s 108 and as far as I can tell it should be 102 (1 encumbrance on each leg).

Should show up in the @ screen. Upper-right corner.

How do you train trapping to 1 from 0 without books because I think the minimum to make a light snare kit is 1 trapping and 1 survival.

Well, err, you could try disarming traps you find. Little risky though.

Well, I’m back after a long period of not playing DDA…

Just looked at the wiki and found something annoying.

Is the Ganz-Rustung seriously still utterly useless? I see no reason why it should have such an insanely large dispersion. Recoil yes. Dispersion hell no. Siege crossbows should be reasonably accurate. Otherwise why would anyone use them? Just give it a set up time or something.

ganz-rustung? i newer saw this thing even in debug menu i do not see it in items alslo wiki is not up to date

In the experimental, it is an uber crossbow you can make.

Also, it’s been renamed to “heavy crossbow” because the name “Ganz-Rustung” was pseudo-German that didn’t even make sense (it would mean something like “Whole-Armor”, if you ignore the spelling mistake…)

ok i got a problem i got mission to find military squad in saprofagus but i do not see anyone i walked downstairs with stairs mined by me (because elewator even when activated by code do not work for me) and still i do not see anyone any ideas for what i must look?

Is it anything but poop currently?

I really don’t know what weapons are decent anymore.

Seems guns are utterly worthless vs a smoker zombie… Couldn’t hit it in melee either so it eventually killed me. And I was a bionic soldier. This is ridiculous. I’ve restarted the game a few times and die in minutes. For some reason even if I’m killing enemies in melee with a pipe easily… suddenly I stop being able to even hit them.

What the…?

Fucks sake DG, did you really forget how to play?

You can’t hit smoker zombies with projectile weapons.

Watch your encumbrance level.

Watch your pain level, for gods sake.

Look at the weapon description for their stats.

smokers are hard to hit? shotgun and 00 shot should still work

Or a match bomb

Partially yes.

You can't hit smoker zombies with projectile weapons.

I swear I remember hitting them with projectile weapons in the experimentals… Not always but I’m sure I managed it a few times. Unless I’m getting confused with skeletons. Anyway, couldn’t hit the bastard in melee either despite not really having any encumberance to speak of at the time. (This character didn’t have a backpack or vest. Just clothing and a rifle.)

Well, I think I was only on 1 pain when I mysteriously stopped being able to hit zombies. Also encumberance shouldn’t have been super high. I mean OK I had an armoured vest and backpack on but I killed some zombies like that before finding my attacks were missing continously.

Maybe the random number generator decided I’d had enough lucky rolls already.

It’s certainly being a dick to me regarding finding guns.
