V12 have the highest top speed, but I think that V8s have the best thrust/weight ratio.

Adding extra engines does make the car faster, until but there comes a point in which your car actually starts moving slower due to the weight of all the extra engines
Where would I find a V12? Right now I’m just looking to install twin engines on a battering ram of death once I find a APC or two.

Is it even possible to make something capable of going straight through buildings?
You can find V12 in sports cars or with luck inside public works/garage

Scratch that then,I haven’t seen a sports car at any point since I started this character, the chances of getting something decent in a garage is low.

why everyone are looking for v12 for me engie from lawn mover or foot crank is enought

Foot cranks don’t bring down buildings.

That’s what I love about this game. Long periods of regular gameplay and right when it starts possibly getting a little boring BAM!!!1!11!!! something insane happens.

Unlike most people on this forum,I want something BIG,tiny raiding vehicles are for wimps,I want to drive a armored truck down the street, not worrying about hitting stuff, instead of driving around in a tiny shopping cart dashing around to get loot, mainly because I’m at that point of the game where you don’t need to bother with loot,(much) so I’m bored with my tiny little quad bike and am looking for stuff to do.

Meth. Do meth.

Got an AK? Got an RPG? Oh, Carl Gustav will do. Bored? Go build a tank!
Anybody heard of any plans on making tracked vehicles in cata?

alslo manual turrets will be great for making a tank

How to deal with shockers when you have a sword+scabbard, and don’t want to be shocked:

 1. Put sword in scabbard if you haven’t already
 2. Take off scabbard
 3. Wield scabbard with sword in it
 4. Whack shocker with scabbard+sword
 5. ???
 6. Profit with an awesome image in your head.

Looks like hanging solar panels out of the experimental Z level building is working out pretty good.

How do you look up and down Z levels?

zlaves? Seeing this all around commits on github i wonder what they are and how to get one? Can someone explain this to me, please?

What they are:Let’s imagine a building with 2 floors, your on the first floor, going up to the 2nd floor would be going up 1 Z level,if you blasted a hole in the ground and went through that then you’d be going down a Z level.

How to get one:Download the latest experimental build of Cataclysm DDA and enable the Experimental Z levels “mod”.

Is it possible for science lab to not to have finale? I had impression that every lab has one… but in lab I am right now, there is none.

Sometimes the lower levels of labs are separated off into different sections (as in, rock walls all round one bit, another bit off to the side with rock walls all round, different stairs leading to each one). Stairs can also hide behind locked doors and the like.

This does not seem to be the case. I did not left any locked doors anywhere and maps of floors do not suggests that there is another section I missed.

The lowest floor (-6) has 2 separated sections you mentioned, both of size 1x1 tile, not connected, they have one tile space between them. Both have light blue colored L suggesting there is no stairs down in them.

It is possible that the finale connects diagonally. Only way to know for sure would be to reveal the map from the debug menu. You can backup your save if you don’t want to spoil it for yourself.

It indeed does connect diagonally on -6 level. Debug revealed it. Thanks

Time for the jackhammer…
