I’ve got a 1-point strength penalty and I don’t know why. There’s nothing listed under Effects. What might cause this?
Acquire books, learn recipes for top-grade weapons and armor
use your resources to craft said weapons and armor
practice fighting EVERYTHING you see until your dodging, fighting, and shooting skills are at a level you’re comfortable at
take on that mine!
wrestle hulk and jabberwock
create big underground complex from scratch
kill Shoggoth

So I was upgrading my vehicle and was curious, what’s the difference between a board and a quarterpanel? I was examining my flatbed truck and found that the top part had frames and boards made into the wall while the trunk area had quarterpanels.
Boards you can’t see through, and quarter panels let you see through.
you could just get a missle silo and shoot the lab with the shoggoth in it… though it seems pretty passive except for the fact it eats all your nails
2. Is there some books or magazines that can teach you some recipes even without the ability to read? I mean - imagine some heavy illustrtated assembling guides that could be understanable even if printed in some foreign language).
Sounds like a good idea.

The Italian cookbook might qualify BUT I imagine you kinda work out what the ingredient list means based on the pictures. “OK, it calls for a cipolla, and it looks like they’re chopping an onion when the cipolla comes up,” for example.
Thoughts?
So, I’m inside an Strange temple in the coloured stones part, Wtf do I do ? I just hear random “shifting rock” noises and everything seems blocked. I heard this is a puzzle so I wanna do it the legit way instead of sonic resonating the nearby walls to get to the other side.
It’s a moving maze.
Eventually a opening will appear.
Probably.
You’re better of sonic resonating it.
Hey guys what perception does it take to spot landmines, I have used characters with the base 8 but still cannot see them.
Spotting traps has changed in the Experimental, it now uses your Traps skill more (according to the Commits log).
Spotting traps has changed in the Experimental, it now uses your Traps skill more (according to the Commits log).
i with 10 perception still see every trap on latest experimental sometimes buried traps (landmines, beartraps) i need to move nexit to it and wait 1 turn
Quoting this for emphasis. I did a temple twice. Each time during the color maze I got trapped in a 1 tile space unable to move. First time I was just boned, second time I brought a jackhammer.
If you need to bring it anyway, might as well just bust down a wall.
Once again, it’s me. This isn’t really an in-game question, but here seems to be the best place to ask.
So, out of curiosity, what are the development priorates? I know that it is largely just people do what they feel needs doing, but are there any short or long term goals, other than continuing to improve a mighty game?

This may be relevant:
Here’s the shared dev vision for Cataclysm: Dark Days Ahead. It contains spoilers, for what that’s worth, as it’s kinda tough to discuss the world without them.

Probably subject to change, but a good starting point.
Yeah. Thanks, that was both an informative and interesting read.
Guys how come when I spawn theres mi-go’s right outside the evac shelter, I thought things did not spawn until 9:30, or does it just count for zombies?
