Hey guys, noob question, I submitted a bug that I was getting twice the morale bonus from food, EX eating a single toast-em will yield me 36 total morale instead of the 18 enjoy ability stated on the info.
No one seemed interested in my bug report, is this a bug? or are foods always supposed to give twice the Morale Number of the Enjoy ability stated?
I play with NO food or morale related traits what so ever
I have experienced this on 7 different experimental builds
Greetings and salutations, I am new to this game, but have been playing it for at least a week now, been generally being careful and slow about things, but I would also like to know what governs radiation resistance ala the ANBC suit or Hazmat suits, as they don’t seem to have a special flag about them in the wiki, is it just the Environmental Protection aspect? if so, would a fully complement of Survivor gear equate to just as good as a Hazmat suit, or is there some other aspect I’m unaware of?
The short answer is: Nothing you really need to worry about tbh.
The long answer is longer and I havent got the smartmakings to be able to explain it at 4am, but yeah, in short, nothing that is really important for you in terms of general gameplay.
Sorry guess I should have been more clear, NO food and morale traits :)[/quote]
Huh, im getting the same thing, no morale traits at all.
i was in my first mine ever i decided to get down here and only danger was that toxic gas and lava but with gas mask is not a problem but at end that tentacle dog was hard and i now have mask of the unknown monolith anyone have any idea what this do because 18 bash and 12 cut protection on face is not too much
Is there any way to go down a hellmouth safely? I don’t plan on mining down there but if Idid that would the ground under be safe? I’ve already died once with a test dummy character of dehydration because he couldn’t handle the heat so are there any ways to provent such things (maybe using fireproof gear or does that only afect direct fire damage such as standing in a flaming bush?)
Hellmouths are pretty much just for show at this point. I wouldn’t be averse to a “heat” plane, as an inverse of the ice lab, but that’s likely a long way off.

try rivtech armor powered by 10 plutonium cells it have climate control and few other things or internal climate control CBM but prepare good power supply with some power creating bionics like joint torsion Ratchet or metabolic interchange its good to have internal furnace because maybe you will find some organic crap to burn or get few bottles of vodka and ethanol burnber
Hello everyone. I wish to try illiterate character sometime, but I wonder about “illiterate” trait.
Can my char remove it over time (via reading some child books etc. resembling slow process of learning how to read, or with something else).
Is there some books or magazines that can teach you some recipes even without the ability to read? I mean - imagine some heavy illustrtated assembling guides that could be understanable even if printed in some foreign language).
So I’ve been at this zombie survival stuff for a couple of weeks now and I’ve finally got a character that I feel has “arrived” so to speak. The evac shelter is relatively remote without being too far from the forest or the city, there’s a subway entrance near to where I access the city, a missile silo up and a mine up the road. She’s got food, drink and medical supplies that will last weeks. Found a rapier and a kevlar vest plus more guns than I know what to do with. I’m good on tools with an electric forge, anvil, crucible and a set of welding equipment plus most hand tools. Today I finished making my first vehicle, the pedal powered shopping cart someone posted in this thread, and took it for a spin.
Now that I’ve managed to survive past the early game, what’s a good way to proceed? I can win any solo fights I’ve come up against and really the only monsters that have managed to hurt me lately are ones that can cause bleed and even then only in large packs, which is a bit of a problem as during my little “bike” ride I barely escaped from a huge pack of zombie dogs on the north side of town. I’m thinking about establishing a second base in the subway, maybe build a new bike down there too, then using the stairs to thin out the surface Zed population.
Basically I could use some suggestions for midgame stuff, things to do that can make me more killy or survive-y, so I can think about stuff like delving that mine.
Acquire books, learn recipes for top-grade weapons and armor
use your resources to craft said weapons and armor
practice fighting EVERYTHING you see until your dodging, fighting, and shooting skills are at a level you’re comfortable at
take on that mine!
