Tips, Tricks, and Newb Questions!

5 Fabrication?

5 Tailoring.

I have 6, and I don’t see the recipe. What tab is it under?

EDIT: Oh wait, should probably mention I’m on Stable A.0. Was it only added in an experimental?

Yep, seems so.

I’m playing experimental 1488 and for some reason my character has randomly collapsed into a fit of being stunned and having muscle spasms. I’m sitting in a basement and medicine, even royal jelly doesn’t seem to help. Is this some sort of disease or a bug?

So I have the common cold,my coughing keeps waking up my character.

And so far cough syrup is proving to be a scam, does this stuff actually work?

Just make some noise cancelling headgear or find something that blocks noise if you’ve got a cough. You’ll sleep through the sound of the goddamn moose breaking through your window, but at least you’ll get a full eight hours.
Krav Maga + Unarmed or Melee beyond 5 = dominate all enemies.

At 10, you can wrestle with hulks and jabberwocks without taking a scratch.
I’m using taekwondo with my current character, and my unarmed skill is at 8, and it’s pretty much destroying everything; nothing is a threat now…

Kinda ridiculous, but it’s fun nonetheless :stuck_out_tongue:

Okay, strangely enough I have encountered the whole moose breaking through window while your sleeping, even slept through it,probably due to the heavy sleeper trait.

Dem Meese.
FunsizeNinja must be training his new pets.
God forbid he gets his hands on some Zeese

It does, but it wears off after a few hours. They cut down on the symptoms a little, but not completely. As stated, earplugs/noise headgear can stop you waking up, heavy sleeper seems to do the job as well for me most of the time. Sleep in a basement to be 100% safe. If you have a decent supply of food/drinks, lightstrip and some books, just retreat down the hole and read for a few days.

I have the heavy sleeper trait, isn’t doing me much good.

I have a couple books but I have a ton of trouble finding decent food and making it last.

Does the common cold go away after a while?

EDIT either that cough syrup did something or it does go away after a while,I no longer have it.

ONWARD, MY ARMY OF ZOLFS AND ZEESE!

Sounds like new disease, tetanus.

Is it possible to repair guns? Just wondering because I went back into a raid area, and i killed a spitter, and it had an m-1911 on it, and it’s shattered, also does that affect the reliability of the gun? Thanks for answering,if anyone does.

I think it is possible to repair them. And yes, it does affect accuracy and damage, thanks to our lovely Rivet.

Thanks, i’ll get to work on finding some scrap metal, at least that’s what I’d expect it to take.

No way, that’s so horrible (awesome). How does one catch it?

Also noting, its pretty unrealistic too, most people in that time period would have up to date tetanus shots.

You can get it when you cut yourself on wreckage. Not sure where else.
