Tips, Tricks, and Newb Questions!

I have a questiom, exactly what lies in the basement of a HWS? I’d like to know what nasty stuff can spawn around the HWS as well. I wanna know what I’m getting into before going near the Hazardous Waste Sarcophagus. Also spoilers for people who want to find out for themselves.

i got another problem, after looting in labs i was covered in boomer bille but no boomers was around later when mining in military bunker few times i was coughing and vomiting gray something and i got few spasms what nearly killed me, now i have no health on arms and 1001 pain. anyone know what is this? its first time when i meet this and its not my first lab

From what I heard, nothing.

That means you’re infected with fungal stuff. Get some anti fungal medication or royal jelly quickly.

Hazmat undergrounds are large cave systems with even more mutagen, etc and piles of zeds (contaminated corpses stashed there; oops). Unfortunately you’ll need to debug yourself not one but two sets of access codes as apparently the elevator back up needs a set too.

And, IIRC, the underground is also radioactive, so armored hazmat suit and the ability to fight in it is a prerequisite.

Probably not only the underground, I died after just going near the HWS. I took what I could from the buildings around it, but I didn’t open the sarcophagus… A couple of minutes later, 100 pain, vomiting, eventually death. And it wasn’t from any other source, the HWS was next to my spawn point so it was the first place I travelled to.

PRO-TIP: Removing food from its containers ((Plastic bags, cardboard boxes, paper wrappers.)) more often than not reduces the space it takes up in your inventory! Stuff your pockets with potato chips and rejoice!

Often though you will find a cleansuit which means you don’t need to be in as much as a rush, or a Hazmat Suit, which means you can take your time. Bring a crowbar along, as the crates usually have some nice loot.

how do I install a seat belt into a seat that doesn’t have one? I removed the old completely broken useless seatbelt, and now I can’t seem to install a completely new one onto the seat

thanks

Seat belts are made from short ropes. Five point harnesses are from long ropes.

What determines whether or not you can drag a vehicle?

Its mass, your strength, and possibly your current carry weight.
if it ways more then twice your max carry weight, chances are it won’t budge.

Me again,I accidentadly punched up a zombie with my fist’s,but when I realized I was punching it I noticed that I was dealing strikes at a very fast rate, though somewhat weak.

My question is this, how much potentional would this have if I leveled up the skill, and would brass knuckles and rubbish do blows at the same rate as fist’s?

Unarmed weps like brass knuckles have their own attack rates, though they are pretty damn fast. With a decent unarmed form (karate, boxing, etc) and/or decent stats/skill unarmed can get fairly OPed.

Krav Maga + Unarmed or Melee beyond 5 = dominate all enemies.

At 10, you can wrestle with hulks and jabberwocks without taking a scratch.

Hrm,I’ll stick to my crowbar at the moment even though it is inferior.

Yeah, I know they’re made of short/long ropes, I just can’t figure out how to install a fresh seatbelt onto a seat that doesn’t already have one. There isn’t an option for it in the little /i/nstall menu.

You need a welder/duct tape, wrench and welding goggles to install things.

do not need googles if you are using duct tape

okay, my problem was that I just wasn’t seeing the entry for “seatbelt” under the installation menu, but I found it.

Now uh, how do I craft a sheathe? Is the recipe in a book or is it auto learn? Which book/level of skill?

Auto learned at… 5 I think.
