anyone know where i can find mininukes and how big is explosion radius? my 4 bases are flooded with fungus at least these are good target practice
alslo my rifles skill is dark blue and do not go up what this mean?
They can be found within labs, the radius is 13 tiles I think and they leave thick radioactive gas in 11 tiles (these spread of course), and obviously, the ground will be radioactive after the blast so be careful to not walk there later for too much time, if I were you id just get all of the important things from these bases and seal them off from the world like a slime pit if there’s just too many fungaloids.
thanks i looted 4 labs (what i use as base) and still no mininuke well i am out of cards so i will try open doors with fire and few shotgun shells

Mininukes are military gear. You could craft 'em if you’ve got extremely good skills and gear, but you’re more likely to find them in military supply drops or bunkers. Blast radius is about 5-6 tiles.
However, all you really need to kill a Spire is a box of matches, a gas mask, good clothing coverage, a decent rifle with ammo, skill with same, and patience. Set the bloom on fire, wait until it burns out the fungal wall, and shoot the Spire to death.
Re rifle skill, you’ve probably turned it off (by mistake) to save Focus (Tab to skill list in the char screen, highlight the target skill, and hit Enter to toggle spending Focus on it/not).
Is there any way to dump water into a barrel that’s sitting on the ground? It’s annoying to have to pick up a huge wooden barrel (and drop my weapon on the ground) to empty my rain-bottles into it, and has nearly resulted in death several times when I’ve forgotten to pick up my weapon afterwards and attacked zombears with my bare hands.
I managed to install a muffler,I just have to ask,how much noise will this thing make now? I know that I can’t have total silence if I’m going to use something with a engine but I don’t want a horde coming along when I’m making a looting run.
Electric motors are quiet. I use an electric trike.
O <— wheel, solar panel, battery, windshield
| <— controls, electric motor, solar panel, battery, seat, seatbelt
O=O <— wheel, solar panel, trunk / solar panel, trunk / wheel, solar panel, trunk
Plenty of storage for looting, quiet, requires no fuel other than being left in the sun, and it’s light enough that you can grab it and drag it if you have to. Top safe speed is 160 mph. Granted it’s not very strong and can’t survive any abuse, but it’s small enough to get through tight spaces where larger vehicles wouldn’t and there’s no obstructions so you can shoot in any direction if you have to. Think of it as a motorized shopping cart you can ride (which I have also done in the past, BTW.)
Don’t use a car then. Cars ain’t fucking stealth bombers flying in the night.
Use a bi-cycle or some shit if you want silence.
I just don’t want half the town to come my way if I take a drive.

Would a motorbike with it’s engine replaced with a electric one work?

Standard frames, or light frames on that trike?
I’m fond of light frames, and making sure to carry enough duct tape and a foot crank for those just-in-case times that I need to move my scavenging vehicles when they haven’t got enough of a charge.

Standard frames. I considered using light frames, but it turns out it’s light enough with steel frames that it can still be pulled around like a shopping cart. Run out of battery? Just lug it behind you.
i have something like this:
O (wire basket, casters, light frame)
#(seat, seatbelt, foot crank, controls, light frame)
O(wire basket, casters, light frame)
you can change wire basket to any other container if is too small for you unlike electric trike it can move inside any building and its easy to get all parts (no risk of getting killed while removing parts because its just 3 shoping carts) only foot crank is problem my foot crank was lying in middle of road
