Yeah, you can find them in libraries and mansion libraries.
If you got NPC’s on, they sometimes own a copy of the book which you can trade for (or just frag them.) Also I have seen the book just lying around in a house once. I wonder what human meat actually tastes like…

The best bits are similar to pig.

"What we need are some proper cannibals, and where better to start than one of Germany’s most infamous citizens, the cannibal Armin Meiwes. Having eaten an estimated 20kg of his victim, Meiwes is something of an expert on the subject, and in an interview from his prison cell he was more than happy to explain the taste: “The flesh tastes like pork, a little bit more bitter, stronger. It tastes quite good.”

I dont think there are any modern cannibals who can stack up to the old school ‘when we have a big feast coming up we grab some chubby guys from the next valley’ tribes.
The book seems to be just an uncommon find I think, ive seen it in houses, libraries (among the ‘just for fun’ books), at a radio station and in a public works.
Can anyone tell me the odds of finding a dojo in a default-sized city? I wanted to try an unarmed/bow character this game (named Oliver Queen, world name Starling City – amusingly, he found a bottle of Mirakuru just lying on the ground outside the shelter and mutated himself a high pain tolerance), and I considered taking a martial art, but figured I’d save myself the point and find a dojo in-game instead. After all, Ollie didn’t start out as a martial arts expert either.
Unfortunately, I’ve now explored every city in walking range of my base – all eight of them – and not a single one has a dojo. My unarmed skill is now 10, but my fighting style is “punch it until it stops moving.” Am I just really unlucky, or are dojos a rare find? I’ve been ransacking every library I come across hoping to find a martial arts book without success. Is it even possible to find a martial arts book anywhere but a dojo? (I have NPCs turned off, since they have a habit of wandering into my base and stealing everything that isn’t nailed down right in front of me.)
Dojos and gyms are reasonably common in my games.
Most large towns have at least 1, some have 2 and I found one with three dojos and a boxing gym once.

Wow. I’ve played about a dozen games now, and I found precisely one dojo in all that time. And I’ve never even seen a gym. I’ve probably explored 50+ towns. I’m playing the current stable release. Is there some reason dojos and gyms are so rare in my games? I’ve found towns with four or more liquor stores, two schools side by side (that was !!fun!!.. having to gobble junk food and chain-smoke non-stop while I murdered dozens of children), piles of gun stores, hordes of electronics and hardware stores, but not a single gym and only one dojo, ever.
Well I’m on the experimentals, I don’t know if the map-tile placement was wonky in the stable.
Alright, yet another quick newb question. What’s the trick to getting rechargeable stuff to charge? Dropped a rechargeable mod on a welder, installed a recharging station on a solar powered wheelbarrow, and… nothin. Stuck on -1 charges. Am I not supposed to use solar anymore? Do I need a specific box, or controls? I’m missing something, just don’t know what it is. Playing on experimental, btw.
Thanks,
-Lawli. ^^

Have you tried…turning it on at the vehicle controls?
What controls? its a wheelbarrow.
But yah, hes right. Gotta turn that guff on and off from controls, else it just sits there.
Alright, thanks. Knew it was gonna be somethin silly. ^^
Is there a way to drop a certain amount of water from my canteen? I only have 8 water purification tablets, but my canteen holds ten things of water, so I can’t purify it. Do I have to use another container or something?
Uh, guess this isn’t really the place since it’s more about lore than gameplay, but what is the deal with the FEMA camps? Were they built as to help or are they the conspiracy version that was meant to used as a concentration camp?
They were built to help most likely. America isn’t the type to suddenly turn to nazis in the face of an other-worldly invasion.
No, and you can’t.
Fuck.
Thanks.
Well, some of the most common containers (glass and plastic bottles, glass jars) hold a max of 2 units of water, so you could /U/nload water into an empty plastic bottle, causing the excess 2 units to go into there, and then apply your 8 purification tablets to your canteen that now has 8 units of water in it.

Oh man, thanks. It’s too late now.
I died.
:l
You could of drank two bits of the water and then purified it.
