IIRC highways only get created under certain circumstances, and at some point or other the code that is supposed to generate them broke. Mapgen is a horrible thing to mess with at times, so nobody has gotten around to fixing them yet.

Extremely rare (factor 1, the minimum) in magazines, school, and pawnshops. Could probably stand to show up in Mansion libraries or something.

Guys recently I was in a science lab, and while I was exploring I had found what looked like a mutation or genetic manipulation facility, behind the glass were many grotesque looking abominations including a crab person?

I was on my out because they had seen me and understandably wanted to get to me through the glass, on my way out I heard very curious chatter, which strangely enough seemed to be coming from the direction of the horrid wretches, it was chatter like, “did you need some paper?” and “I could do with some coffee.” I attempted to look around and see if there were any alive human scientists to talk to but the direction it was coming from was just too dangerous to explore as I did not even know how much longer the glass would hold

Stranger still on my way out of the room I hear faintly, “Il fucking kill you” followed by “Let me light that cigarette for you”

So my noob question of the day is WHAT THE FUCK was talking in there

If your Survival skill is high enough (dunno the exact number) you can /e/xamine the mushroom and the game will tell you if it’s safe or not.

Other than that, may as well just eat it. I’ve never actually DIED from eating a bad shroom.

You can exploit statistics to determine which mushrooms are safe to eat. If you collect a reasonably big enough sample, lets say 20 mushrooms, the biggest of the three stacks is safe to eat.

This has been bugging me for ages now, is there any easy way I can mass-produce duct tape? Being a craftsman + a tailor (beginning to make the survivor suit pieces) duct tape is as crucial for me right now as food & water. If I want to progress, that is.

Is there a special duct-tape lootpile I can find, or can I somehow craft it?
