Had Uncanny Dodge CBM been super severely nerfed recently? Looks like it currently takes 100kJ to make a dodge instead of 6J(not kJ) as in description.
if it states that is 6j , then maybe someone forgot to update either, the description or the value on the code, try to verify it (things like if its really happening or just under certain circumstances) and made an issue on the github with all the info
I cant do a throw while peeking, why is that? Or is not ingame anymore??
What’s the issue with cameras? They only provide me with a view range of 17 tiles, is that the norm?
Cameras do limit your range of sight a lot, they have always been that way. I haven’t bothered using them much since the bug that let enemies see you through your own camera, which completely defeated the purpose of using them.
Oh, I see (or not that well, in this context
So this range of 17-18 compared to normal range has been there for game balance purpose then? Weird, given the official stance on realism trumps gameplay.
It kinda makes sense, since camera’s need a focal depth and everything outside of that would be blurry and unrecognizable. I’d rather focus what’s at my front door than what’s across the street and be unable to identify the perp stealing my packages.
It would be nice to do a computer skill check to allow you to see further through cameras though, since you could run better software and use features like auto-focus and zoom.
Throwing while peeking does still work (did it multiple times last night during the live-stream on build #10319).
What you cannot do is throw while peeking up/down stairs.
Found a top notch farm with a hydroponic plantation of cannabis and tobacco and full basement of food, but if i`ll take something from here it considered “stealing”. Since nobody except acidic ants are watching - does this stealing affect any future interactions in this world?
There’s a post here that as long as nobody sees ya stealing, it aint a prob.
Yeah, thats what i mean peeking down stair,i remember that old build can do this right?
To borrow a line from an old House of Pain song - “It ain’t a crime if you don’t get caught.”
I think that would apply post-apocalypse more than ever.
Question about weapon mods, is higher number of dispersion improve accuracy or lower number did? And is the lower number good or the higher one is good on mods mechanism? Thanks
Dispersion is a measure of how far off-center the shot is – to “disperse” means to spread out. Lower is better.
I still don’t understand why all sights except rifle scope have positive (i.e. more than zero) dispersion on them. Shouldn’t they reduce dispersion instead? I asked about this here some time ago, and noone was able to give a clear answer.
e: another question: are cobalt-60 pellets as useless as they seem to be?
That would make it more intuitive, but having the dispersion number get smaller as the sight attachments get better is functionally the same.
does throwing weapons get a multiplier or something?, i have tried various items having a good ratio of weight and volume, like the small metal sheets, but they seem less effective that specifically made throwing weapons (except the almighty rock).
You clearly don’t know of OP the throwing stick is,I don’t use anymore given how cheaty it felt.
Was clearing a heli crash and there was a number of kevlar zombies. Pneumatic rifle with wooden broadhead bolts wasn’t doing much damage. I thought that switching to bodkin bolts, that do have higher armor piercing stat is going to make it easier but results where actually worse.
Is piercing characteristic of ammunition has any effect at all? It feels that overall damage multiplayer had more effect and therefore broadheads where more effective.
I believe there’s a JSON tag for things which are balanced and easy to throw, which makes them better throwing weapons.
