Example: if you see a small cardboard box of meat pizzas, show the stats of the meat pizzas, THEN the stats of the small cardboard box. Because the vast majority of the time, players care more about what’s in the box / glass jar / flask / etc versus the cardboard box / plastic bottle / glass jar itself.
