Radio towers?

Can they be used to reveal more of the map? and if so, how?

I don’t think so, no.

They are just decoy for now, i think. But i would love so much that they had more uses.

A simple use for the moment would be adding an option to do an action where you ‘climb up’ them, and the game would pass an hour or so, then reveal a big chunk of map centered on the tower before depositing you back at its base.

I think you can hear different radio stations when near them but nothing interesting otherwise

…Bonus points for a chance to fall and bigger view radius with binoculars

Radio towers (and some other things) continuously transmit a predetermined radio message you can pick up with a radio. You can determine direction to the transmitter with a directional antenna. One of the broadcasts is a weather radio station that gives accurate-ish weather forecasts.

I should totally put a “pile of straw” next to the tower, give you a “climb” command to get to the top, and a “leap from tower” command once you’re at the top.

And kill you when you jump into the pile of straw, because that’s not enough to protect you from a fall from that height.

I like this idea.

haha. assassins creed?

Oh-god-yeessssssssssss

There’s an IRC user who is writing up a conspiracy theory radio show that we’ll be dropping in.

Oh my god this is perfect XD And now I have a reason to keep a radio…

You can also use them to hunt down LMOE shelters

And purify mutations you don’t like! And make zombie hulks explode!

That would be, however, very nice.

If Jason Brody can do it, I don’t see why I can’t too.

Also, GPS.

Right now, damnit.
