Yeah, crowbars can’t pry open windows, only doors. To silently open a window from the outside, you need to have a hammer and screwdriver, and disassemble the window with the construction window (which takes a small amount of time.)

Creatures smaller than you, such as child zombies and zombie dogs, have an unreasonably large penalty to hit in melee, which makes them very difficult to kill when unskilled. In fact, you’re often better off picking up random nearby things and throwing them than you are trying to hit them in melee.

Try not to get disheartened. Sometimes you just get unlucky, but every run is a learning experience.

Oh, and by the way, whenever you start a new game, it’s often a good idea to explore any nearby roads away from major map points. They have a good chance of spawning interesting things, such as dead military patrols or crashed helicopters, which can be a big early boost to a game.
I’m not actually disheartened, I’m actually kind of laughing at myself. I didn’t know my encumberance level, since I didn’t check.

Oh well, I’ll play tomorrow, I’ve got to get up early in the morning and I don’t want to stay up to late.
That’s the thing. They weren’t.

I have a couple of buddies I play games with all the time, I’ve known them for almost 2 years now. But, after a few months playing with them, they started calling me Nick. Not Nik, mind you, but Nick. At first I thought they were shortening it, but as we send each other messages sometimes I caught the way he spelled it.

So I asked them what they thought my name was. They actually thought my name was Nick.

Of course this was well over a year ago and we know each other’s names now, but they’re not the only ones to think so.
Eh. If you haven’t told your real name to close buddies for two years, no wonder they thought your name was Nick.

“Of course this was well over a year ago and we know each other’s names by now, but they aren’t the only ones to think so.”

Check the item’s encumbrance level by examining it in your inventory, and you can layer your clothing with = . Fitting clothing makes the encumbrance level -1.

Whoops. And put your text AFTER the [./quote]!

And leave the double [./quote]'s in! You’re throwing my quoting off!

Whoops, sorry, did it again. But, I think you got the point.

At least it wasn’t as bad as the last time.
