I’ve been lurking these forums for a while and registered so I could ask.
Is there a reason that monster definition is done in the source code and not in a json file like items?

They’re in the process of pushing them out to JSON.
Ah I see, thanks for the answer.
no problem, i can’t wait to get my hands on it but sadly I must. . . i will add more species to certain monsters (for example: Zombie Rottweiler dogs 
and ravens :P)
