Mod folder support?

Can you distribute modded source files in the mod folders or are the json files the only things supported?

I’m making a mod but running into parts that I could do better by getting into the bionics source file but if I’d have to distribute a recompile for the mod I’ll work around it.

Yeah it seems to be that way since it doesn’t seem to recognize anything but I was hoping there was a folder format or something that would get it to take.

JSON and lua files are currently the only things accepted through the modding system.
