Don’t believe him, he is joking (internet does not convey emotions.
Use the ^ vehicle menu.
You can either do it while sitting on the bike seat, or if you’re not sitting on a seat it prompts you for a direction.
Also a small but important note, but you can’t be holding onto the controls while you try to fold it up.

Personal Experience: Even colliding with an object while riding at 35 mph with one’s folding bicycle w/ electric motor and battery, the rider tends to fold before the bicycle decides to.
Am I assuming too much that I can add a engine to a folding cycle and have it still fold?
You can’t currently modify them at all, you can repair components, including replacing wheels.
Ah well, still bloody handy to have tho. I aint complainin.
