The student profession starts with a error, might be the zombie survival guide mentioned in the description for it.

and knit hats are implemented 
It’s the wooden shield that was removed (since it was actually a 0 enc. full body armor :P) but we forgot to remove the recipe itself.
This and the other bugged professions have all been fixed in the dev version.
Also, recipe initialization now cross-checks against the master item list, so that particular source of the bug should never happen again (it’ll give you an error on startup about it instead), this will be expanded to spawn lists, professions, etc presently. Yay for the game doing boring checking for you.
