Entities deleting, and examine_action's adding (by mod)

Is there any way to delete or disable items, recipes, monsters, etc. from game via mods?
Is there any way to add or edit "examine_action"s using mods?

I believe you can blacklist most things with mods currently, but I’m. It sure on the exact format required. I know replacing things is as simple as making a duplicate copy in a mod and editing it.
Not with modding. You might be able to do something through Lua, but I’m not sure.

blacklists, I’ll see about making a sample mod for it.
now that you mention it, the item info code would be a GREAT thing to redo in lua, CIB’s the resident expert on that.
