When installing additional engines it takes a high mechanics skill in order to keep adding them, mostly due to the complexity of linking the drive shafts without complications. Installing a engine and leaving it connected only to an alternator would be incredibly easy, in comparison. So can we have a vehicle part that is a generator and is built using a normal engine? It should obviously not count as an engine as related to the number of installed engines and acceleration.
