So… pretty much the only thing i can draw and the only thing in labs that i can’t do anything to - a shoggoth(also a concept art for a shoggoth-shaped evil God that i use somewhere else).
A version with less tentacles and more mouths, eyes and sharp… things.
It probably is big:
I get the feeling it would be very hard to evade that thing’s notice. Kind of nice seeing horror ideas that aren’t all tentacles X)

Some lazy, fast and backgroundless drawing of what happened.
Game crashed while trying to handle the junk-splosion that followed.[/quote]
Straight outta System Shock. All in favor of making panel 2 a mutation (and potentially requiring it for farlook)?
Needing a giraffe neck to look around would be an ui nightmare if you ask me. The view commands are there to make the game easier on the player, not to be realistic.I don’t really think that such a basic roguelike command should be something that has to be earned, i mean almost every character from every single roguelike I have played has this ability prepackaged. I rather have the long neck just be a funny interpretation of what you character is “doing”.

Fair enough, though I’ve heard complaints about how view-nearby-items is Unbalanced, etc. That’s why I ask these questions.
I havent drawn anything for this in a while so:
There are my three survivors (templates), they make a decent team I guess.
Also Aiden is apparently pretty short.
That badass cigarrete.
Gotta smoke in the apocalypse, there are now so many places you can smoke where you couldn’t before. Besides, it doesn’t really matter that it’s bad for you. Your lifespan can probably be measured in hours anyway.
My speed runs on DOOM at my school are legendary.
One does not stop playing Doom. Ever.

Woah… i need to try that!
But after i finish my playtrough of Zpack with Brutal Doom.
(Also, the drawing is from Zpack’s level 3)
Brutal doom is amazing. plain doom is good enough as it is, when I first saw BD I thought, “oh thats a neat mod,” but once it was installed and booted up my brain just lit up with the numbing ecstasy of showering blood and gore. so much red all over the screen, and when I was done I found that I wasn’t so angry anymore. absolutely the most satisfying thing ever. great anger management therapy.
Brutal Doom looks nice and all but there’s waaay more interesting stuff out there these days.
There is a lot more interesting mods. I love, for example, one called Stronghold where you have to defend bases… REALLY GIVE IT A TRY.
The thing is that BD relieves my stress. Really. I love that. Blowing that stupid imp’s head with a shotgun…
Normal doom is really awesome too. I find that normal Doom, eve if it is really fast paced, it’s a lot more tactical than BD. That is what BD is: a gory mess of booms that relieve your anger. And i love to play it with my own mode: the HUD face becomes the Gnome from my avatar. And that makes me feel satisfied.
Brutal throws blood around for the hell of it, but I kinda like having the AR, selective-fire double-SG, fine-aim on the AR and pump-SG, crouching, jumping, and kicking, personally. Better punch mechanics help too, as do the rest of the melee mechanics.
