Yeah, mine too, and I live in an apartment XD Even without the damn RMCC I’m living better in CDDA than in reality, so I figured the RMCC’s absurd to being with, might as well cram a hotel into a submarine.

If the apocalypse were to even hit and I managed to survive the first critical days I am pretty sure I would be better than on my normal life.

Think about all that expensive camping stuff I can simply take! The apocalypse had to literally happen before I could own it!

Ultralight 3-season 2 man tarptent: $580

Brick: 52 cents
Balaclava: $13.99

Draw your own conclusions.

Think of all the other people thinking the same thing! in all actuality, if I ever get away from what is basically computer addiction/forum troll syndrome, I might actually survive day 1, then die to a stupid mistake or physical failing on the next.

Not strictly an in-world thing, but in my attempts to introduce some content of my own into the game using github, I feel like I’ve cocked up somewhere, and this is my general state of mind (Animated GIF ahoy):

…You’re better off than me man, every time I break something in the local client I’m convinced I destroyed CDDA on the other end.

AND YES I DIDN’T MAKE A THREAD YET

Related to the image, what font is that you’re using? I’ve been looking for a decent square-shaped font to use for my game, because Terminus is too tall and makes roads look weird, and HRose’s retro tileset isn’t fully ready yet.

…no.
It’s a “drawn” idea of a new UI.

Font is cootuecursessquare16x16.

Return of the Undead Pulp!
Well, kinda.

Clear a town with a junk heap sports car? Sure.

Crash into something much too solid at ludicrous speed? Oh, yes yes.

Get flung out the window and then get run over by your own car? You know it!

Land in gasoline. WHAT?! KER-BLAMMO! PHOOM! WHAP!

Survive final explosion, get back up after half a day of agonizing pain, start all over… with solars this time.

Did a handful of doodles just now because I was feeling in a doodly mood. Once again guest starring Edmund as he learns just how difficult life in the Cataclysm can be with a fuzzy mothman!

Main change here is the design of his sandals, to match the leather sandals I modded in and submitted, in my first ever git commit. In my head they’re kind of a mix of hiking sandals and flipflops, like those Chaco sandals but made with leather instead of rubber and nylon.

Don’t expect your batteries to last long around a mothman who also happens to be fond of technology in general. Not to mention the clothes that are eaten sliced up into rags to maintain his own custom fit moth clothing. Honest.
One of the ideas I had for ChazMoth’s backstory is that he was originally a lab technician at one of the many science labs in New England, but ended up becoming an unwilling test subject in one of his superior’s weird experiments, shortly before the cataclysm struck. This is why he looks like a fluffy mothman, but can’t use his wings or antennae for anything useful. The fursuit joke is inspired by this post, from the “Strangest fucking thing I’ve seen yet” thread:

I dunno, It was a funny mental image in my head! Also Edmund is still super fun to draw.
