Draw Your Cataclysms

Oh man, that DOES look familiar to me, but I’ve seen a damn lot of art over the years. COOLEST HELMET BY FAR please send the artist my regards.

Used the illuminate thing on imgur, darkening the lines to make it look better.

wow nice.

I just misread that as “used the illuminati thing on imgur” and thought this was a new meme ΔconfirmedΔ. No more mead for me tonight!

Ask me again when I’m sober, but I might do a basic colouring of that pic if you have a palette in mind.

Hmm…

The bone mask could be a dirty white, and thanks to Fallout I always imagined power armor as dark-grey to black.

For some reason, I always imagined Rivtech guns to have lots of purple.

I couldn’t decide on the color for the gem-thing or loincloth, so I’ll give you artistic freedom for those.

In the grim darkness of the future, there is only war. Anyways that looks like someone from one of those assassin temples in war hammer 40,000

Coolbeans, though last night me neglected to remember he does not have his work schedule for this week yet. I’ll get back to you on that simple colouring!

I’m no Candlebury, so here’s an OotS style pic of the survivor from my Bay12 LP.

Lorelle, a red-haired woman with pale skin and green eyes, is wearing a white fedora, a black leather corset over a white long-sleeved shirt (rolled up at the elbows), a patchwork white scarf around her neck, cargo pants, sneakers and wraps of cloth around her hands. She wields a slender wooden rod as her preferred weapon.

Holy shit your right. All I need is a sufficiently futuristic gun and some bionic claws and I could RP my character as a person who was just a little to interest in WH40K before the cataclysm.

I unwittingly created a post-apocalyptic eversor assassin cosplayer.

Chaz denies that he is, in fact, too pure for this world.

Found Snow “Meow” again today. But gotta drop her. A mission from the Old Guard (flush the traitor). :frowning:

I love Snow and Foxy so much @_@ So adorable.

So I’ve been on an art request thread on /tg/ again. This time I got someone to draw a “giant solar-powered tank”.

Cata related because its how my current vehicle is ending up like.

Can anyone draw this story? I have tried to draw it, but fails countlessly…

A survivor walks along a road, wearing a lab coat, and an old ww2 helmet and armor
Following him a young kid. He adopted the kid during the start of the cataclysm. Together, they have traveled far…very far. It’s in the start of winter. They were walking when the first snowing start. The kid says “Snow…the only thing left that is pure…” and he then catches a snow flake falling… The old one then says “No. Not even the snow is pure in this corrupted world.” The kid asks “Why?”. The man says "If you have been there during the fall of FOB Charlie, you will know why…"
A flashback occurs: FOB Charlie-Calais. Millions of survivor flooded there to escape to Britain-billions of zombie following them… The outskirt falls- butthe survivor didnt go down easily without a fight. The city fighting is not to their advantages, so they went out and sets up sandbags, traps… The day of the battle it was snowing. The evac was disastrous, and they blew up the crossing. The survivors clashed in melee with the zs, like in the medival. The fighting lasted for a day. When the dust settles, there are only a few human survivor left, out of the millions whom battled, and a field filled with corspes, blood, mud… In a snowy background. The entire land, as they says, is “tainted with the blood of the damned, and the lilies that grows on it was red out of the blood of the killed, and the snow is red in blood, black in goo”

Good ol’ stacked winter armor.

Hulks sending me flying through multiple buildings? Didn’t feel a thing.

Ok… So I got a tablet (It belongs to my mother and she’s had it for a while, so I just asked to borrow it)

I honestly don’t know if it’s worth learning over what I can already do with a mouse.

I did a thing of Foxy with the tablet, and I don’t see much of a difference. (other than the shadowing and extra detail I decided to add as well.)

(This tablet takes up the entire top section of the desk, because the desk isn’t that big. good thing I know the layout of the keyboard after I get typing, because I can’t see it underneath the desk.)

Nice! \o/ A tablet is always a good thing to have, you’ll get the hang of it in no time, though I can only imagine how it must feel moving from mouse drawing to tablet drawing.

Also, in celebration of me finally returning to form in Cataclysm (by which I mean managing to last longer than Day 1), here’s a doodle of ChazMoth in a rough approximation of how he was geared up:

(Also co-starring Chaz’s Beetle, who I have posthumously dubbed Brutus The Beetle because it betrayed me when I was having a good run.)

Now now, don’t blame the car for you installing the ejection seat mechanism upside-down.

I think the tablet is going to be more of a mood based thing, I’d still much rather draw with a mouse since my things aren’t high resolution. If I feel like I wanna draw on the tablet I might (I’ll specify when I do)

This is how my first day usually leaves me…

So yeah. Did this one on the tablet too, took me a couple hours.

Also, new page hype!

Edit: come to think of it, that’s pretty much every day… I explore a little farther, touch up on skills, beat the shit outta some zombles, go home and nap with more stuff.
