I’m not sure why someone would want to make chitin gauntlets. Since they only protect the hand, they can’t be used for blocking as the old chitin arm guards were. They provide hand protection, but I don’t recall ever having something hit my hand in-game so that doesn’t seem terribly useful. Seems like fingerless over glove-liner is easier to make and decent enough to stop Spring cold-problems.
What’s the reasoning there?
