Absolutely correct. I don’t know how you would craft one either. Your other option is to get the pain numbing CBM or the deadened/cenobite mutation.
Not really a tip exactly, but a word of advice. Learn what the baseline for bulletproof gear is. I’ve had a hell of a time learning the hard way how to survive a barrage from a 9mm turret.
