I like being super hero survival man with a razerbar katar.
I never get to complete my deathmobile without some bugs corrupting my save files anyways.
Don’t make the game impossible to beat without letting me first!
I’m going to love and tolerate the shit outta you.
There is no need to nerf the end game stuff.
1.The game can become easy at times but remember you can always increase the city size, or the spawn rate or black road!
2.The fact that the skills can be raised very fast is a problem indeed. but that can be fixed
3.Some features are still to come like moving hordes that can find your base
4.Adding realistic stuff is a must, even if the game became easy(I would be the happiest survival in the apocalypse if found a gasoline generator)

- Those options don’t really make anything harder, just more tedious. Increased spawn rate of easy to kill zombies doesn’t really increase the difficulty that much unless pushed to the extremes. Increased city size does nothing without the spawn rate, and black road only affects the initial difficulty.
… - I disagree. A game without challenge is only engaging for so long. And realism has been sacrificed in other places for gameplay purposes.
I took a stroll around my local supermarket today while thinking about CDDA, particularly this thread. And, I realized our supermarket had thousands of liters of water (maybe even more, there was like 50 20L jugs stacked up, about 200 1L bottles. Probably more in parts I didnt see, and probably mucn much more in the back). And, enough food to survive a couple of years. So, I thinking people just raided supermarkets in CDDA, since theyre so baren.
Grocers should have back rooms.
Now imagine a year was 8 weeks long.
Now imagine being able to craft miniature nuclear weapons.
Imagine if we compromised and made easier ways to make acid bombs.
Imagine if we just took a glass container full of acid and threw it at zombies.
NO STOP YOU ARE MAKING THE GAME TOO EASY!
Me gained if we could craft Mininukes out of dirt.
I really don’t see what’s stopping us from picking up liquid on the ground with a container.
The laws of physics.
Damned those physics and their laws!
Make a thread about this and I’ll start brainstorming comments!

Why should the games items and new systems, which are fun for a lot of people, be removed to suit your needs?
I mean, it’s not like all those new items aren’t in the JSON. You can open them up yourself with notepad++ and delete them. I find that it’s sickening that we have to make doing any bit of technical work to the file structures easy for you newbies? To be fair, the JSON’s go to far as making the files easy for the likes of you to access. You don’t need to mess with the source. Do you know why it’s called programming? Because it is an esoteric skill from the dawn of computing, and therefore it must remain the same forever.
Now I must write a long op about how everything should be done in COBOL. I bet you’re going to ask that they add a menu that lets you individually edit various spawns next too, you goddamn lazy coder!
There will always be three groups of people. Those who find the game too easy. Those who find the game too hard. And those that rest in the middle. You will not be able to satisfy all three groups. However, adding in several world gen options where players can tailor the game to their playing style will go a long run in helping. So what if an extra option is added that allows you to adjust certain factors of the game.
Like someone who’s never used core rope memory should be allowed to even have an opinion on anything related to how the game code works!
