Anyone else kinda want chicken walkers loose in labs?

Labs just need more attention to them. They seem very impractical and random and Dissectors are just plopped in the middle of every room like awkward christmas trees, except instead of christmas lights they’re lined with the shattered husks of skitterbots and cyborgs and pretty much everything that could have possibly walked into it except for the player. Utterly worthless traps, and completely useless as machinery. Seriously, what were they even using those dissectors for? And why so many of them? Surely not EVERY room is an operating room.

Labs need something resembling functionality in their layout. It’s pretty immersion-breaking when you’re waddling around 10+ empty rooms with a cooler in the back, or like 6+ bedrooms linked together in a big clump. I want to feel like I’m walking around a laboratory where some dark shit might have gone down or at least something at all, not a big concrete maze with turrets every other room and loot caches scattered at random.
