- Bring up crafting menu
- Search for ‘seasoned’, hit Enter, and it should crash immediately
- Alternatively, search for ‘salt’, browse down to ‘seasoned salt’ and it should crash as well
Edit 1:
I discovered two more cooking recipes that cause a crash just by attempting to view them
- chocolate-covered coffee beans
- Italian seasoning
I viewed at recipe_food.json to see if I could spot the problem, but alas… I’m fairly blind to spot such things. The only odd thing I saw was an indentation in Italian seasoning recipe. Deleting it doesn’t solve the crash though.
So, I deleted the offending recipes altogether, loaded a game and started browsing through all the recipes again. I even used debugging to unlock all recipes, and didn’t bump into any further food recipes that would cause a crash. Only the three cause a crash, and I sure as hell don’t have a clue as to why.

I guess it’s worth noting that the crash happens regardless whether or not I’m near my ingredients and tools stockpile.

BUT! I updated to #4386, and I don’t get a crash anymore. Did my game files just get corrupted somehow or what?
