What's Happening in YOUR Randomly-generated Apocalypse?

Ever try driving an ambulance through a crowd of vehicle halting zombie dancers? Without wing mirrors?

Not fun, let me tell you.

why do the mirrors matter? keep them from jumping in the car?

I’ve just discovered that carrying more than your carrying weight may give you the mutation strong. That is pretty cool!

O.o must carry ALL the things.

That can t be true. This must be a case of disconnected causality.

I thought so, but then how did I get the strong trait? No radiation, no mutagens, only a lot of solar panels on the shoulders.

You can gain it from scientists rays yugg sting and the teleportation disease as well as messing up the instalation of a cbm and eating certain other things besides mutagen.

Scientists rays and yugg stings, I don’t know what they are. I didn’t install any cbm in quite a some time, and didn’t get any teleportation disease. I don’t think I’ve been stung by a yugg, what about scientists rays?

you would have to fight a scientis z in close combat where he would use a special attack firing a ray from his mouth that may mutate you.

Ok, then. If there is no way you can improve your strength by carrying a lot of stuff, then it must be the scientist mutating ray. Oh well, I hoped it was the carrying. Making him carry almost double the carrying weight was very painful. I hoped at least he would get rewarded by all that pain :frowning:

Theres was system of improable stats beeing discussed. If your lucky it ll get fleshed out and a dev pics it up.

That is good to know. It’d be fun but I guess pretty difficult to balance.

Returning on the topic.

I’m finalizing my log house. Still need to make the roof and some furniture (I plan this to be the bedroom, eventually I want to make a multi-room house). And also I need to make some windows, but I have to go to the city to get the glass sheets, and I need to wait for my solar car to recharge (damn winter!)
(uh and sorry for the mess in the house, but it’s still a work in progress, I didn’t have time to clean up the mess)

Id be disappointed if you cleaned up the house because that would show an incorrect image how how much you’ve got done.

could build cabinets and orginize things :stuck_out_tongue:

works for me. Just don’t make it seem like you still need to drag in all the supplies to continue construction

They allow you to see what’s behind the vehicle.

Without the mirrors I haven’t the faintest where half the vehicle is and what it’s going to collide with.

OOHH ok. its s bummer you couldn’t get somewhere safe first and repair it. better luck next time.

So, while I’m waiting for the new stable to come out, I’m attempting to see if it’s possible to survive a “Really Bad Day” start at 1.5 spawn. It’s…not been good. For the purposes of this test, I consider “surviving” to be finding a place to sleep, curing the infection, making some basic weapons/armor, and getting to the edge of town. At that point, you’re basically at the same point as a regular evacuee start. I’ve been having okay luck with the regular scenario lately, but at 1.5 it’s been impossible to find a place to hide.

On my last attempt, I ran down a hallway away from the fire , opened a window to escape the starting house, and was rather startled to see a brute immediately on the other side. The brute managed to punch me backwards through the air and into the fire. I think 1.5 spawn may be too much.

Well i don’t feel safe, Fredrick Flynn just said “Hold on, I want to pick up that To Serve Man.”

every challenge other than lab give you challenge only for start only exception is abandomed what give easy start (less hp but lot of medicine) but that small hp can be fixed by granades or mutations
