Cutting through the urban jungle with my machete.
Residents of said jungle consists of an insane amount of blobs and a few zombies.
Found a working car, however it could only go 19 MPH without taking damage so I accelerated to 60 MPH and predictably the engine breaks, while going on leftover speed I crash it into a gun store and loot a shotgun and some pistols and a large stockpile of ammo for said guns.
EDIT:I’m basically crammed between two large entities, south is an enormous number of blobs, north is a zombie thriller and its gaggle of dancers.
Not sure if living up to username, or just doesn’t realize that one can easily pick locked doors.
or just doesn’t realize that one can easily pick locked doors.
Psh, who needs lock picks when you have disposable cars? Lock picks are one of those things that would make things much easier but I always forget exist.
Kinetic bullet pullers are another.
I gotta see how hard is to mod vehicle parts and stuff, i need a Demolisher cannon. Meanwhile, roller drums are fun

Adding vehicle parts is pretty easy (\data\json\vehicle_parts.json open in any text editor). Item id’s are unique, newest instance overwrites older ones, and mods load in alphabetic order in my experience. Also inside the data directory is the mods folder. Steal a modinfo.json from one of the existing mods, making appropriate changes, make yourself a new folder in \mods, create a new file and then copy/paste vanilla files and modify away. Be sure to save it as a .json. Then you can generate a new world and select your mod from the list.
This is an addition I made before there were rams. Behold the Cow Catcher:
[
{
“type” : “vehicle_part”,
“id” : “cow_catcher”,
“name” : “Cow-Catcher”,
“symbol” : “^”,
“color” : “red”,
“broken_symbol” : “x”,
“broken_color” : “white”,
“damage_modifier” : 400,
“durability” : 2500,
“item” : “spike”,
“difficulty” : 2,
“location” : “under”,
“folded_volume” : 1,
“flags” : [“SHARP”, “PROTRUSION”, “FOLDABLE”],
“breaks_into” : []
}
]
It shows up in the vehicle list as Cow-Catcher and exists alongside the spike its a modified copy of. Replacing “id” : “cow_catcher” with “id” : “spike” would replace the spike in the vehilce menu.
that sucks. I was playing a lab challenge and carrying a chem set so it wouldn’t take up room I didn’t have in bag and decided to break a window in my way. Chem set broke and hurt me when it shattered
Might be minor irradiation if I recall correctly. Have you been drinking atomic coffee/diving potentially radoactive areas/carrying a damaged radioactive item like the Atomic Nightlight?
hes a relativly new character though, just flailed about a small town and killed most of the zombies and raided the gun stores. and i dont remember getting in anything that would irridate you
So, I don’t know if I’m the only one who does this, but as a rule I avoid eating the giant insects/arachnids/worms/slugs. I mean, yes, nearly everyone is dead, most of those that are still alive are trying to kill you, most of the dead are also trying to kill you, horrors from beyond space and time are making the world seem like a bad acid trip, and the specter of death by malnutrition hangs over you every day, but dammit, I had better be starving to the point of deliriousness if I’m going to even consider eating the crushed remains of a mutant spider the size of a riding lawnmower. I don’t care if “meat” is fungible in-game. No, just no.
(Writing this little rant caused me to actually go and look up what spiders actually taste like. Apparently tarantulas are something of a delicacy in Cambodia. The legs supposedly taste a tad like crab/lobster, which is not terribly surprising, since they’re not that far apart taxonomically. The bodies are…still quite gross. Ants apparently taste awful, as they’re full of acid at a level where they’ll destroy your teeth, so the whole “I live near a giant anthill so I never worry about food” thing might need a tweak.)
Mario runner needs to get into a bank but, a sledge wont work so im gonna take out the exterior walls and ram into the metal walls with a random car i rig. good luck
It saddens me that everyone is so discussed by tarantulas…riding lawnmower sized… yea I get that. But normal sit in your hand sized ones are just so live and let live (unless your a bug) poor guys don’t deserve arachnophobia like all the other spiders.
