Day 30:
Still alive. Summer starts tomorrow, which is going to be fun, as that is when either fruit or berries come in season. And not a moment too soon … just ran out of oatmeal! Swapped into summer clothes. Now I am much more comfortable. So jealous that womens clothing is so much cooler than men’s clothing … but I am surviving. Only 5 points of warmth on my legs. Summer clothes really hurt my storage space though, so I am swapping from using my fireaxe for my primary weapon to my brawling/judo skills. Killed a tough zombie with my bare hands, so it might be practical.
I tried to build a boat. I just realized the reason I can’t use it is because I need a seat with a seatbelt >.> That will be done very soon. It cost me about 1750 batteries (out of around 3250). My next goal is to finish reading Mechanical Mastery to get my mechanics skill up high enough to craft a vehicle crafting rig. After that … fix my ‘driving around’ car. Currently it has a max top speed of 16 kph (10 mph) -.-
There is almost no gasoline, however. The only gas station in this town was completely empty when I turned up, and the only solar panel I have found so far is damaged, and part of a wreck, so I am going to have to speed up installing that solar panel on my Meth-lab-turned-RV. Then I can start crafting salt.
Gourmand+s’mores = better than crack, possibly. I prematurely celebrated the coming of summer on the 29th day of Spring, by drinking brandy, smoking a joint, and eating some s’mores. Brandy gave me +48 morale, the joint +60, and the s’mores … +120. And they don’t rot, and I still have three of them
Saving them for my reading of Mechanical Mastery ATM…
It looks like my plants are still growing. Hopefully I will catch them as soon as they grow, as I don’t want them to rot in the fields >.> Still so much to do. Gaining preserved food much slower than I planned, But as long as I have around 3,000 units of preserved nutrition around, I should be set for a full-season winter exploration. 6,000 units means it will be two seasons ^.^
