What's Happening in YOUR Randomly-generated Apocalypse?

Alright, recently my dude has been sick as a dog. Every other day he gets the cold. I have 3 theories as to why this is happening:

 1. My diet consists of 95% fluid sacks
 2. I don’t wear enough cloths
 3. I hang out with fungaloids too much, and the spores are hurting my immunity

Anyone have an idea of which of these are most likely?
Most likely 3. Fluid sacs* are Health-neutral IIRC, and diseases come through the mouth. (So “enough clothes” would be a filter/gas mask and otherwise naked.)

*In terms of “biologically-grown bag” there’s no k. Sack with a k on the end is a constructed one, IME.
Just checked. I didn’t recall correctly. D:

Fluid sacs are -1 to Health due to insufficient nutrition, so eating a lot of them lowers your immunity. That’s why you keep getting colds. Sorry, Bonevomit.

That explains my characters month long colds. Luckily I found flu shots so those aren’t killing me.

I have changed my diet over to eating meat and stuff more because I was suspicious anyway, but I still used fluid sacs for water. I guess I shouldn’t do that anymore…

Maybe there needs to be a recipe that squeezes the water out of a fluid sac and discards the meat? Or maybe their nutrition could just be made negligible? I don’t know, using fluid sacs for food is obviously unhealthy, but as a water source they are pretty handy.

Maybe add fluid sacs to the list of possible ingredients for clean water?

Attempting to jump from a vehicle going 800+ km/h managed to crash the game. Oh my!
I imagine it had something to do with the fact that the engine was torn off as soon as I left the seat. Hm.

i spawn in the midle of a citi and feeld with zombeis…great

Just came back from an extremely great loot run. Zweihander, nodachi, and a broadsword. Too bad the katana was fake.

So… what should I pick? Broadsword for the speed, Zweihander for the sheer smack power and knock back, or the Nodachi for the mental image?

Nodachi’s the most fun from my experience. Just don’t forget to reinforce it.

I got an idea, when you butcher the monster, it drops a fluid sac container that holds clean water in it.
Instead of the food item fluid sacs.

Otherwise this is just weirdly unhealthy water.

I would be hesitant to drink fluid from sacs acquired from any creature. How does our character know its safe?

Anyways I lost another scientist, this time to teleglow. I had to spend extra time near a flaming eye, due to having to kill an NPC with rocks and a folded blanket (unless I wanted to chunk a chemkit at him). After I killed him I fled, being to familiar with teleglow, but it was too late. I went blind, gained sight back when approaching a horde, then teleported, a portal opened near me, I froze in horror to one of them cow headed things, then died trying to fight after my pain slowed me down to much to run. Flaming eyes, the only enemy that kills you at a glance.

Flaming eyes aren’t that hard.

I once killed three of them with a nail bat and ate the meat chunks from their corpses.

It’s not so much the flaming eyes themselves that are dangerous, it’s the random teleportation.

Its not the teleportation, its the chance for telesickness.

That shizzle is EVIL.

Nor have I ever gotten telesickness from them.

The RNG has a soft spot for children and fools: FunsizeNinja is basically invincible.

Also 3000th thread reply I guess.

I’ve never not gotten it, maybe RNG just loves you, or there’s some kind of clothing or armor which protects against it that you wear and I don’t.

To my knowledge there is nothing that prevents teleglow. Ninja’s either gotten very lucky and avoided Bad Stuff from the rolls, killed eyes before they could stare at him (possible, given that character), or could just be expertly expediting excrement.

Well, I usually wear safety glasses or ballistic glasses now. Sometimes I wear a survivor mask, but I was killing them in past versions. Portals aren’t as plentiful now. And I’m not using Kito anymore, she died after IcedPee gave me a challenge concerning a spood and a J-9…

But she lives on in a backup save that’s extremely old.

I’ve been teleported by them, blinded by them, but never gotten telesickness.

Also malls are hard. Light survivor suit ain’t cuttin’ it anymore.

Firebrand is.

Those are both results of teleglow. You’ve gotten “telesickness”. Pretty bad, too, if it teleports you.

It happens only once though…

I’m fighting it, it teleports and blinds me, but by the end of the fight it never happens again.
