What it says on the Tin.
My latest character is a fast food fry cook trained in Dragon Shaolin, psychopathic, parkour expert and fleet-footed. Had to have Robust Genetics, trade off is a glass-jaw along with the usual truth-teller, forgetful (cheaty, I know) and all that jazz. Invest 1 point into dodging and I’m off.
It worked surprisingly well! Granted, I found a wood axe in the basement (fuck yes) and the first thing I looted was a mansion. So far I’ve come pretty far and my starting steak knife’s doing me good. Found a flask of mutagen guarded by a two zombie scientists and two kreck which bummed me right out, but they ended up fighting each other and it ended with a kreck and two manhacks stuck missing each other in place for the rest of time. I drank it, passed out next to this infinite skirmish with rough skin, dexterity and my fleet-footed turned into road-runner. So that went well I suppose!
Royce McConnelly is an irritable, trigger-happy asthmatic ex-cop who stays up long nights only to turn around and sleep like the dead. He’s also deft, an excellent scout (from long nights doing stakeouts), an excellent reader, has an absolutely god-awful poker face, and chain-smokes. He favors strength and intelligence, representing the importance he places on keeping as healthy as possible and his investigative prowess.
He picked up a deputy badge whilst fighting zombie cops at the police station and decided to keep it. He fancies himself 'The new sheriff ‘round these parts’, and has made it his mission to secure a safe haven for civilization to rebuild.
I don’t know about him being my favorite character build, but he’s survived longer than any other character in his world thus far, so that’s gotta count for something.

Seems like you’re going to become a bird mutant, goo-d* luck!
*See what I did there? Because… Y’know, the blob stuff? No? Ok…
Experiment scenario, tentacle arms, tiger style. Because that’s hilarious.
Self role play for maximum immersion. Bonus points for not overestimating your INT stat.
Start as shower victim and Debug in the stuff I’m wearing atm.

Congrats, These are some pretty good ideas.

Oh How Oh So Very Punny.
Base 10 stats build with robust genetics and parkour expert. Everything else I just decide as I feel.
12 STR, 8 DEX, 9 INT, 8 PER, home mechanic, far and near sighted, bad temper, packmule, strong back, outdoorsman, fast learner, disease resistant, home mechanic, in burning house scenario.
yes I add myself points but bear in mind I’m still breddy shite at the game and learn a lot. I just recently activated all zombie + robits.
burning house in my humble opinion is the hardest start, its certainly the hardest part of the really bad day scenario. I have a pretty low survival rate on that still just because you can have a bad RNG roll for zom zom’s at the beginning and no time to do the standard evac equip up.

ive played a lot of this game and i still stick an extra 2 points on. dont feel bad.
anyway, psycopath, robust genetics, a few negitive traits like heavy sleeper and other harmless ones, mutant, mixed stats, whatever else i feel like chucking in.
I tend to play either:
Ballet dancer (profession I modded in on my local copy)
Bride
Lab Technician
Though lately I’ve been playing as a drone operator, I have yet to actually…control anything. I tried a computer hacker a few times, but computer skills are largely useless except for a few specific instances, mostly pertaining to Labs.
