Too many blobs

I woke up after sleeping in the lab near a gelatanous blob that I left alone. Afterwards, I found the outdoor area overflowing with blobs, as seen in this screenshot: http://puu.sh/7VqUa.png. I don’t know what to do about this.

Did you maybe have a cough? Blobs AFAIK use dynamic spawns so noise will cause them to overspawn.
