I’m reasonably sure that most guns don’t have any sort of branding on them. The best way to identify a firearm is by sight, different designers and manufacturers have specific styles, in that an AK looks different from an M4, and both are different from a SCAR. Other than visual identification, it’s really a crapshoot.
Mostly irrelevant to the game, but do guns usually have a label on them stating the model/manufacturer? Or do all games just assume you know every kind of gun? I need to know if a character in my fanfic would know what model a gun was without any real gun knowledge.
are you asking if real guns in real life are stamped with the model/manufacturer’s info? yes, virtually any gun not made in someone’s garage will have the make, model, serial number, manufacturer’s logo, and the caliber of ammunition it is designed to shoot, stamped somewhere on the weapon.
Minnesotah safety manual picture
Or rather, SHOULD.
Most guns will have their caliber and a serial number that can have make/model info included stamped somewhere on them.
Man, really? All the rifles I’ve seen have mostly been marked with caliber and serial, sometimes a manufacturers name or logo. Although this might be for an entirely different reason.

the make/model number will usually be included in the serial number. the “logo” may just be the manufacturer’s name. then the caliber of course, and if it doesn’t have that then shoot at your own risk!
Yah, sorry, I should have been more clear, all that info is usually in the serial number. If its any help 99% of ammo also has its caliber stamped on the base as well.
So which is better? Archery or throwing?
Both. Archery is longer range, but you cant bow a grenade.
How hard is it to to train throwing?
It’s the easiest skill in the game to grind. Just find a rock and throw it until you’re in the double-digits.
If only you could shoot gas pumps with incendiary arrows

Thanks everyone! The thread may be re-railed now.
So the alarm lights are your interior lights?
How do you repair a kevlar vest? Sewing doesn’t seem to be working. I do have some kevlar bars or whatever they’re called, just can’t find the right command.
Use a soldering iron, with some plastic chunks or Kevlar chunks.
Thank you!
So I’ve seen people mention a “No Cities Mode” around a couple of times. Is there an option to turn of building spawns or is just playing the game without going into towns and such?
Also, is there a way to select car parts that are lower in the list shown?
i don’t know why you would want to play without cities, as that’s where you will find most of your loot and action. but if you absolutely(heh) must have minimum interaction with cities then you can set city size to one(1). that should make it so that “cities” won’t be anything bigger than hamlets.
I call it the ‘little loot challenge’, essentially you go with barely any cities and you have to find most if not all of your guns off military corpses or science corpses.
