Fabrication. It’s a general measure of “how well you are at making stuff”, and is used for the skill check/training of many crafting recipes (though you need other skills to unlock the recipes in the first place). This stops you from becoming an excellent gunsmith just because you are a good shot.
As for all the overhauls, it’s mainly 2 things:
A lot of these have been being worked on for a while now, they just all happened to end around the same time.
The next version will most likely be coming out sometime in the next couple weeks. Thus any new content PR’s are trying to get merged in before that cut-off date.
What causes you to ‘stop breathing completely’.
I had this happen to a char on about the 3rd day, everything was fine as far a I could tell, apart from the whole dying due to not breathing somehow.
I’ve been playing with the farming with debug, not had time to look at it in a proper game yet. Even with very high raised skills the grind wheat into flour reaction always fails and wastes materials, maybe because the skill responsible for it is N/A so there is no benefit to having skills?
Hi, I decided to mod myself a truck for the first time and my resources are currently fairly limited to experiment, so I wanted to ask - will steel plating installed on a frame make the frame impassable, or do I need layer of boards for that?
And if plating is enough, will it protect my engine if installed on the same frame even if it’s located on the front of the vehicle?
Well, that’s a shame, but thanks. Also, how do I change the direction of a head light? I’ve seen some mentions of it on this site, but when I install it, it doesn’t offer me any options.
Update to the experimental version? IT’s not in the normal one, but in the experimental after you install it you just need to press the move key in the direction that you want it to point in.
Will Marloss Berries rot? I just collected a nice stash of them and I am unsure if its just better to eat them all together or if I should save them for emergencies
They are pretty good as a food source…but the side effects can be questionable.
I think my record for most marloss berries eaten in a row “safely” was something like 7 or 8. If you can string more than 11 together without the warm feeling, you’ve beaten the odds.
As a note, I only ever seem to find marloss berries in stashes of 15~20 and frankly I’ve never found them near fungal spires. Found one patch right outside of town once.
Yeah, the Fungal Portal is glitched. Fungal Blooms have ~400 tiles and each has a 1/300 chance for a Marloss bush, so 0 bushes is within reasonable expectations. Bit annoying if it happens every time, though. How many spires have you checked?

I don’t go near spires except to burn them to the ground and nuke the ashes. That’s why I’m saying it was so weird to find a fungal patch about 2 map tiles outside of town on a road with about 18 berries in. there was no spire nearby either.

That would probably be a Fungal Portal then. Had a purple character alternating away in the middle?
