TIP: Regular zombies are minor threats if you’re not injured; focus your efforts on taking out special zombies that could hinder your ability to move/retreat. When I raid a store or house, if I see a regular zombie coming at me I try to just hurry and leave before I have to risk getting hurt or wasting ammo on them.
TIP: Eating a good meal can help your character in different ways. Invest some time into cooking.
TRICK: This is technically cheating, but if you’re having a tremendously hard time starting a new character, consider modding yourself to start with a pistol and some ammo, or something else to ease your beginning. I know for me, I modded in myself to start with a pistol, ammo and a backpack and my enjoyment of the game has doubled from lack of tedium.
Isn’t dropping anything a free action? I seem to remember dropping basically my entire inventory when under attack with little consequence (I had to waste half an hour in game time picking all the crap up of course).
I haven’t tried this in the recent builds while paying attention, so you may want to test it before you’re in close proximity with hungry bears.
to be honest you find so many containers anyway you may as well drop them.
Exceptions are Tin/Aluminium cans and paper wrappers. One serves quite well for burning stuff (although skewers take up less space… sigh…) and the tin cans can be used to craft batteries.
I would probably check a crater cause those like to have springs and steel chains and quite a few of them usually, just don’t hang out to long or go in craters in the middle of swamps
12-14 STR (anything less than 12 sucks even bows need str to pull unless your gonna be using guns/throwing javelins and combat knives)
10-14 DEX (2 Dex= 1 Dodge Skill, Also affects hit rates mainly throwing, For Climbing Fences,Dodging Traps,Lock Picking, and diving out of moving vehicles)
10-12 INT (For Bionics Installation chance, read times, if gonna be a hacker type 14 int no less as it will help in hacking)
14 PER (10 only works if not wearing eye wear/gas mask so get 14-15 to wear that gas mask 24/7, also helps throwing skill in accuracy terms not hit rate, and firearms hit rate)
Traits: Parkour Expert (Effective movespeed on higher than 100 movement tiles)
,Quick (Cause Fleet-flooted is a waste of 3 points cause it needs flat 100 movement tiles to get the benefit)
,Night Vision (Stealthy night raiding) ,
Pain Resistant (Nothing slows and reduces stats than high pain levels very effective early game),
Poison Resistant (If you don’t have this well avoid poison with range as getting poisoned is bad and slows you down),
Gourmand (Ability to eat and drink more=less time spent eating/drinking and lesser morale penalty for not so good foods and effective doubles/triples morale bonus of food/drinks/drugs),
Pack Mule (More volume using fewer bags= EPIC WIN and also allows you to carry a huge sum of items with more bags)
Skill to invest in 1 Computer so you can start hacking right away other skills are just easy to raise.
Health that is not seen but only through enabling debug message (Should be called Health State/Healthy as it affects your immune is increased by vitamins (Vitamins gives 10 max boost at a time),flu medicines, fruits and a rare vaccine shot (100 Max boost at a time) but eating junk foods/soda and unhealthy food/drinks lowers your healthy state causing
you to get sick fast. (But if you really hate getting a disease wear that gas mask 24/7 and keep healthy)[/quote]
Man, that’d take like 26 starting points, and you didn’t even name any penalties.
does anyone know a quick fix to the “none” item? it caused me to be unable to select, drop, throw, eat, use, or reasign my waterskins. whenever i click the letter shared by both none and my waterskins it just exits my inventory. and they still take up weight and volume too.
Has anyone come up with a clever way to clear a bridge of wrecked chassis? I’ve tried high-speed ramming, but even with my plated and spiked semi moving at 150 mph, the cars start bouncing around like billiards made of flubber. I had one case where I made it across the bridge and swerved out of the way just as one of the cars whizzed back over the bridge at probably 200 mph or so.
Best way I’ve found is to just push them at about 10mph. It’s still kind of finicky as sometimes you’ll stop while they’ll keep sliding and a couple of times when I was a pushing more than one vehicle I’d shoot up to 70+mph for seemingly no reason… So keep an eye out for that.
Could anyone tell me: is it possible to put a car inside a car?
Like motobike for scouting, inside my big and slow truck for traveling? Or perhaps i could use rope to pull him along?

Nope. Best you can do right now is store parts in a trunk and assemble/disassemble the smaller vehicle as necessary.
Quick question on construction: Is there any way to construct a concrete wall? The wooden walls I’m adding to my base right now look a little dumb right beside the concrete ones.
Water purification >> I filled a plastic jerrycan with water because I usually am always thirsty so I need water. I did this from a sink and know that I will get poisoned but I don’t know how to purify it. Is there a way I can put any sort of drug to make it purified like water purification tablets? I know there is a way to heat it up but I don’t know how to do that through a jerrycan because it requires something metal like pots and pans.
Dead Tired >> Currently my character has a cold and so I took some NyQuil and/or DayQuil and so It made him tired, I decided to also take some sleeping pills to guarantee his sleep, but once he went through the night coughing and vomiting he awoke ‘Dead Tired.’
