At least I’ve confirmed that so long as you know the weapon works with that style, the style works whether it’s blue or red.
Atomic, ups and double battery mods are all mutually exclusive. Other mods are compatible with each other.

I’m assuming that means you cant have a double ups battery.
Yeah, pretty sure you can only have one power source mod for tools.
And psh to all your cults. The religion of fire, and treats everything equally with fiery fire. As the saying goes; give a man a fire and he’ll be warm for a day, but set a man on fire and he’ll be warm for the rest of his life.
What about nomex? o3o

They’re the devil.
So that makes a firefighter…?
And what about Fahrenheit 451-style firemen? owo
Shush! Stop using logic!
Logic is a derpdragon’s greatest weapon. o3o
And now, back to figuring out the ideal bash/cut damage for a proper naginata…
Is there any way to get NPCs to use stairs? I’ve got the original NPC from my starting lab, and I left him alone until I had high speaking skill, then I had him follow me… I was going to get his initial quest once I had him at ground level (since getting some quests while below ground level seems to screw them up), but I can’t get him to go up the stairs.
Am I missing something, or is that just not done yet?

Naginata is japanese, so it’s obviously supposed to be much stronger than the european weapons, but still weaker than katana.
Derp. Thing is we have a survivor’s naginaga, which is assumed to be improvised. So a proper version would presumably be statted better.
For that matter, we need a proper spear or lance. Steel spear is some deranged thing with an all-steel body. =w=

That’s really not historically accurate. The Japanese did have amazing swordsmithing… which was required to make a decent sword from the crap metal the used (hence all the talk about “folding”).
The European swords were of quite similar quality, but with A) different purpose (they had metal armor to contend with, which the Japanese swords didn’t) and B) much less work required, due to the higher quality metal. European smiths didn’t HAVE to be amazing to make decent swords because they had better materials.
Now, in the modern era, a katana made with modern steel would indeed, for many purposes, be superior to a European-style sword.
Obviously I’m simplifying a bit - there were many styles of European sword over several millenia, but the typical one that people think of was the “longsword” of the heavily-armored knight era, and I’d definitely take that over a katana against a heavily metal-armored opponent, even with same-quality steel.
I’m well aware of that, and perhaps should have ended my post with /s as I tried to parody the japanophiles who keep insisting that japanese weaponry is superior in every way.
Just found a cratered city filled with irradiated wanderers, is that an unique location? Also had a building called Salon which is first time I see it.

Yeah, re-reading your post, I can see the sarcasm - a tag would have been a good idea, though.
Irradiated Wanderers spawn from the Necropolis, which does indeed have a Salon… at least, that’s what I’ve seen claimed around here. I had some irradiated wanderers in an area once, but I didn’t go back there to explore…
I’m mainly saying it should be stronger than the SURVIVOR naginaga, which is an ad-hoc weapon.
We’re rather short on historical polearms that aren’t makeshift as it is, so how to stat them relative to other European weapons I’ll figure out later. o3o

Anybody know about this?
Also (and this is a REAL noobie question), I can’t seem to figure out how to fold up a vehicle made from a folding extra-light frame. I haven’t even put anything else on it, just to make sure I get it figured out… and I just don’t see an option for it.

NPCs can’t use stairs yet.
As far as I know, to fold a vehicle, it needs controls.
Hmm, didn’t even know the foldy bits worked. owo
So this necropolis, is some kind of vault in homage of fallout? that’s what i get from the descriptions of irradiated wanderers, is the entrance in the sewers?
