Oh wait, that’s how it works normally too. owo

Anyways, back to questions. Is there any headgear that can accommodate antler/beak mutations while providing environmental protection to radiation?
The xl survivor mask .
Was gonna say, oversize items usually do, but dunno if any mutations trump oversize effects.
I dont think so, AFIAK the only items that protect from radiation are hazmat suits, cleansuits, their armored versions, and power armor, none of which are oversize. The mask wont really protect against radiation, only against fields and disease.
But if you only got gear restricting mutations in your head you should be able to wear a cleansuit.
That said radiaton shouldnt be a concern unless you want to go into the sarcophagus basement.

Oddly enough, the last two sarcophagus basements I’ve visited seemed to have no radiation at all. Aboveground, it had radiation, but I was using my geiger counter underground and it kept saying that there was zero radiation. Well, I kept my hazmat suit on just to be sure, in any case.
Another thing I can’t recall. I’ve heard it alleged that pits, either shallow or deep, can contain fires safely.
EDIT: Tested a thing. Yep, seems that deep pits contain fires, shallow ones don’t. Next time on Lessons Learned The Hard Way, we test how many licks it takes to get to the center of a shocker hulk. o3o
I play with the mods Boats and Blaze’s Vehicle additions pack. Is it possible to have a vehicle count as a car and a boat at the same time? (I’m thinking of a swimming APC)
At the moment no. Even a single boat part marks it as a boat.
Okay, this is probably a dumb question. Will thermal dissipation also protect clothing?
Short answer:
Yes.
Long answer:
Fire attacking you is rather weird - it hits you with an attack, meaning it doesn’t burn clothing, but essentially punches through it. The mechanics of fire damage are pretty much the same as the mechanics of being hit, except with fire resistance instead of bash/cut. When you’re on fire, your clothing breaks rather than burning away, similar to how acid damages items on you.
Dissipation protects from fire “making attacks” against you rather than from the damage, meaning that if you got the “onfire” status or someone hit you with a flaming weapon, your clothing could still break.
Fun fact: flamethrowers don’t deal heat damage with the initial hit, only with the flame fields they leave and the “onfire” status they tend to inflict.
That should make for some heated discussion on in-game thermodynamics. o3o
That was a terrible joke :(…Did not mean to piss on your fire…Oh wait
Huehuehue. owo
no idea whats going on but my character seems to have some weirdness happening, getting messages saying head aches faintly, body hirts a bit and random blindness, anyone know whats going on?
if something hurts you better eat a antiparasite drug or royal jelly my bowels were aching for long time and i acidentaly eaten my anit parastie drug instead of using bandage and it killed parasite in my bowels
Meanwhile I have an area where netherworld monsters seem to just pop into existence when you’re in the area. Also, an invisible jabberwock.

that jabberwock probaly chased fast fleeing animal so good luck with hunting him down
Nope, I’ve been searching the area it’s allegedly present in thoroughly, it flat-out only seems to exist as a blip on the map.
He didn’t seem very steamed.
